Prove your claim. I was a proponent early on of Trump’s pressure to produce a vaccine. Fauci delayed it until after the election. I was on to Fauci long before most of the rest of you had figured out he was a political megalomaniac. I lobbied early on against shutting things down. I supported vaccine for elderly and immunocompromised people. I was opposed to mandatory vaccination of government employees.
Trump had it right in shutting down flights from hot spots. Unfortunately it was already too late. Locking people in apartment buildings was insane. It did no good to lock down cities when you had “essential employees”. Riding subways and buses.
What bugs me about Fauci pleading the 5th today is that he broke the law in doing so (Say what?) That's right - he is pardoned and when you are pardoned, you are not legally ALLOWED to plead the 5th on issues covered in your pardon.
He has a pardon for ALL his Government work from 2014-2025. So he is not allowed to plead the 5th on these questions. Yet he did.
This is another reason he is a scum ball and a snake. I hope they nail him on this - he broke the law today IMO and the opinion of many legal scholars. .

By taking the 5th he opens himself to being jailed for contempt until he answers their questions. His attorney is buying time hoping that the Senate and House flip blue in the midterms so that this will all go away.

Ivermectin wasn’t the cure some sold it as. It also wasn’t as harmful as Fauci would have had us believe. There are studies on both sides of the Ivermectin efficacy debate. When Ivermectin was first approved in the U.S. around 1980, (45 years ago) it was a miracle drug in livestock. Then Merck etal started suggesting it had antiviral properties. They tried like hell to try to prove that with multiple trials and they failed. BIG PHARMA failed to get an anti-viral approval for Ivermectrin. It would have made them hundreds of millions of dollars.
The benefit in animals initially thought to be antiviral was actually due to suppression or removal of parasites that were reducing the subject’s immune response. We have virtually zero parasites in humans in this country that Ivermectin has any effect on.

I agree! Not a fan of Trump at all when it came to vaccines. See how fun it is to admit when someone is wrong? Will the pro-vaxxers ever do this? Not sure if you were one of them - if so, will you?

Trump didn’t force anybody to take it. I was one of the first other than the volunteer guinea pigs to get Moderna’s. I would do it all over again. What they got wrong was ever putting Fauci on the podium and giving him a microphone. It wasn’t his place. The one thing I’ll say is that for high risk individuals, vaccination reduced deaths dramatically compared to unvaccinated people who got the wild virus. One of my internist friends was the medical director at an are nursing home and my wife cared for over a thousand COVID patients. People in nursing homes stopped dying from COVID within 2 weeks of the vaccine being used there. My wife says “Yes vaccinated people still got COVID but her vaccinated patients weren’t dying from it anymore.”
All that said, Fauci lied to the American people and covered up vaccine adverse reactions. He should spend the rest of his life socially distanced in a max max solitary confinement prison cell.

The vaccine in many cases reduced the severity of disease in vulnerable people such as myself. There is virtually no vaccine that can prevent you from becoming infected with a pathogen. What they’re supposed to do is either prevent you from becoming clinically ill OR reduce the severity of disease produced. No vaccine is 100% effective at achieving those goals in every person. Unfortunately Fauci apparently forgot his infectious disease training that he had back in the 60s. He’s a lying pos.
You need to educate yourself on where they stand on the Covid Vax.
But who cares anyway? Our leaders have lied to us and misled us - I don't trust Trump very much on the Covid vax. His ego got in the way and loved to just brag about how fast he got it going.
I do my own research and make my own determination. And this puppy was NOT good for a lot of people who took it - and should not have been rolled out to the masses like it was - starting with the millions of children. Many of us knew at the time there were major risks, myocarditis, VAERS reports of deaths, etc. and the left and powers that be tried to silence us. They didn't want a discussion, they wanted mandates and power. Sickening.
This is the biggest problem with the pro Covid vax crowd - they are ignorant, stupid or corrupt on these issues. Listen to RFK tell Mandel how Fauci, Biden and people in power told us if you take the vaccine you won't get covid (yes, they did tell us that).
