I assume you love capitalism...isn't one of the core tenets of capitalism to "capitalize" on market conditions? Were there not favorable market conditions during a massive pandemic caused by a novel virus to warrant pharma companies rushing vaccines for huge profit? Is this not capitalism at its finest? Either government or corporate produces 1 billion shots. There was a market for a billion shots at the time...that market should be met as soon as possible. Safety has never been a top priority for business.
I am just so confused by this board. 99% are staunch capitalists...but most of these people hate corporate money grabs, but they also hate communism, socialism, and big government...so does everyone just want a mom and pop corner drug store producing our vaccines?
Ah, if only it were this simple. But it's not. We love capitalism. But this was corruption. We had government in bed with the drug companies (as usual). We had the Government doing their bidding.
The mandates are what drive us crazy - it was corrupt. Government forcing us to inject something into our body without our consent if we want to keep our job, shop, etc. Is that capitalism or communism?
Why did the Government come out and blast ivermectin? Ivermectin won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine just a few years earlier. But no,..... the government tells us "Don't take it! It's for horses!" Corrupt. Lies. BS. Everyone with half a brain knows the ivermectin for horses is completely different than the one for humans, that was having solid impacts on Covid. They could've told the truth and told us not to overdo the ivermectin. But nope, the media and the government had to scare the public, tell them to forget Ivermectin - just do the shot. The shot is the cure all. In fact, we are going to require the shot. You call that capitalist?
Oh, and remember they told us the shot will prevent you from getting Covid. Straight out of Biden's mouth. Oops. Maybe not. More BS..
