If they win this year. That is 7. And I bet Hurley would catch Kentucky in 5 years if we don't get a good coach. This is why I think its dumb that people want Pope for a 3rd year. Its basically delaying the inevitable. Championships is the ultimate success rate.

That's why it was dumb this board was so hype for Duke to loose. They would just be on number 6 and Zona/May would have destroyed them more than likely. Now we have to rely on Either Zona or UM to light them up. And I don't like those odds in a one off. Thank God the UConn women lost yesterday. Because them winning both would've been disgusting.

They have smothering defense and refs do not call fouls on their grabbing. Simple if you can get away with it. I certainly do not think UConn won because of officials but their game plan is not called like it would be if we played that style of defense. They have established that they play that aggressive defence and officials accept that is who they are.
They could be ONE.....just ONE behind us and trending upward. Take of the blue shades bud. We're in big trouble.

I always enjoy seeing Duke lose. But logically? That one was not great.
I still think the winner of Michigan-Arizona beats UConn. This UConn team isn't that talented. They are gritty and well coached but I just think Arizona and Michigan are on another level and the season established that.
UCONN may win Monday night. But it will have to be a continuation of the pure luck they’ve had over the past years. Because this team is not championship good. Both of the teams playing next are quite a bit better.
Logically? Yes. They haven't done so in a decade. UConn is now on the doorstep of winning 3 in 4 years and being the "cool" school. They're robbing the blue bloods and I'll say it....BBN has been lazy about it.

I don’t think UConn can beat either Arizona or Michigan. But I didn’t think they would beat Michigan State, Duke or Illinois. So they’ll probably back into another title. I don’t like it but it’s better than Duke, UNC, Louisville, Indiana or Kansas winning a title.
