Howard has anger issue man. It’s painfully obvious.
Howard has a rage inside him he's never been able to rid. Sadly he's not a player anymore but a coach. What a horrible example to the young men he's to be coaching. He grew up on Chicago's south side, which is rough. He's publicly stated just last year you'll never be able to take that out of him. Well Juwan, about time you do better.

If the roles were reversed and a white coach swings at a black coach...the white coach gets fired tomorrow and Stephen A Smith calls it "racially motivated"... But just like Georgetown, every AD in America is scared chitless to fire Ewing or Howard in fear of being called a racist. Howard gets suspended but he's good as gold.
Yep. His defense will be the white dude called him the N word. Works every time.

Not 4sure there has a incident happen yet for a coach,so the coach getting suspended like a player would or the Michigan has to deliver a strong punishment by this week or all the coaches will be kicking each others *** on a regular basis. Which would actually make sum games a hell of a pay per view.

Lol that grab wasn’t much of anything . It was for a second and he let go . Once Howard told him don’t touch me Gard should have kept walking . It was obvious Howard didn’t want to have a discussion .
That is ridiculous. No coach should act that way. It isn’t like Gard tackled the guy. I’ve seen our coach grab the arm of nearly every coach he has come in contact with and nothing ever happened.

Howard should not have been angry, certainly not at the coach that kicked his ***. If he wants to be angry, look inward at a crappy game plan.

Don’t excuse his actions. His temper tantrum belongs to him and him alone. That anger points towards a lot of problems

Except he said nothing like that in his defense.

It’s funny that the very ones who claim they hate how everything turns racial and political is trying to turn this into a racial thing when no one else has mentioned it. It’s uncanny actually..

Where did I say Howard should have acted that way ? In fact I said earlier Howard has to react differently.

That doesn’t excuse the Wisconsin coach . Two things can be true and both parties can be wrong in a situation .

Gard at the end with good I am here indicates Howard was still yapping.

And Gard wasn't going away.

What really should amaze everybody is that this doesn't happen a lot more. I grew up in a county with a lot of high schools and there used to be fights at games all the time.

Thanks for posting that because I could not figure out what he said under his mask at first. He really had no business pressing the scrubs when the game was over. I understand Gard wanting to give those guys some confidence. Howard isn't a good loser.
No problem yeah that’s best vid so far …really up close and detailed

Howard is going to get suspended for that. His punch connected
If they do, he will sue and say it is racially motivated. Some on here wanted him at Kentucky, and how he was this up and coming new coach. How you ones that said how great he was going to be, Howard at Kentucky feel about that now ?

Some are saying he's not to blame or is just partially to blame. Dude got into it with Mark Turgeon during a TO last year and got ejected. There's a pattern to his behavior.

Quit blaming the Wisconsin coach. They grab each others arms all the time when chatting, Cal even does this all the time. But raising your hand and throwing?? Howard is a pos. Some example he's setting for these kids.

Move along folks. It's OK. He's from the streets and he was disrespected. This was perfectly acceptable.
I wished Cal would dress like this and the next time we play Auburn or Duke he can say what's in the GIF here.

What has that have to do with a coach throwing a punch at an opposing coach ?
watch the video
watch where they let him avoid everything except a citation
Howard should be fired but he will be handled exactly like this was

IMHO a DUI is far worse than smacking another coach
neither should be accepted from a coach

From this angle once Howard says don’t touch me why continue touching him ? Just let him keep walking at that point . Howard has to behave better but the Wisconsin coach only made matters worse .
And so it begins... you'll see an avalanche of this type of nonsense over the next few days. Wait till the morning sports talk shows. Howard will be a civil rights hero by nightfall tomorrow.

Coaches shake each other hands when there is no bad blood . It clearly was bad blood as they were set to walk by each other .

Cal isn’t going to grab Jerry Stackhouse arm after calling a timeout with 15 seconds left.

Nope, Cal has too much class to throw hands or be involved with that.
Coaches should be able to speak to one another without fighting. Howard is a pos.

You excused the behavior by saying it was because he was grabbed and didn't want to be touched. As if not wanting to be touched means you can punch somebody in the face. That may be prison rules but not normal decent society rules. At least not yet.

What's next, he stepped on his foot in the club so Howard had to pull out his glock and put a cap in that fool?

Your post implies that you have no idea why this happened. Did you read the thread?

John Chaney threatened to KILL Cal. Was he fired?????

Same will happen here with Howard. He is BELOVED by the Michigan fans and their alumni. He will have to apologize. ANY OTHER coach without his ties to the school would be FIRED today.
They both got the privilege ... nothing to see here . Both are scum .

I’m comparing Cal to the Wisconsin coach in this situation . I’m saying Cal isn’t even going to put himself in that situation because he can probably read the room. Both guys are in the wrong to me

I’ll just agree to disagree on this lol.

1. If Howard got made over a time out being called, then he needs to grow up.
2. It’s some petty BS to walk by the opposing coach after a game without shaking hands. He’s certainly not the first to have done it, but it is always a bad look for any coach to do that.
3. Touching someone on the arm to try to talk to them is not an act of aggression. If you are nearly 7 feet tall, and you feel threatened by a guy who’s a foot shorter touching your arm, you need to grow up.
4. The guy he swung at and connected with wasn’t even the same guy who touched his arm.
5. He had to reach over someone else to reach the coach he hit/slapped.
6. In the post game pressor, he acts like he did nothing wrong.
7. He needs to grow up before he is allowed to coach another game. He is setting a terrible example for his players.
