Thunder and Lightning peaked in 2014 when Joel Coleman rhymed "Kentucky" with "Kensucky" in his weekly ode to our opponent.

How could I forget Joel was on there! Joel TEE Coleman! He was good on there.

Btw, Kentucky's football nickname is the "MildCats"

Those three years were so much fun. Glad Brian took me along for the ride. Whether it's Bob, me, Robbie or Carlo, the show is always gonna work because of the captain. Whether he's right or wrong, he's always entertaining, is all Bulldog and cares about the product he puts out.

It will never be as big as T&L but I will say it does hold it’s own by being ranked in the top 10 of all Mississippi State athletics podcasts and ranked #1 out of all the cystic fibrosis podcasts.

There was a significant age difference between Brian and Bob on the B&B show and that was good as well.

Bob and Robbie are pretty close in age.
If Barone is close to @WrightGuy821 in age then he’s around the same age Bob was when the whole thing started (13 years ago?)

I couldn't listen to the show regularly with Faulk because he'd whine about something some message board handle said... not interesting at all.

Bob Carskadon was good on the show. I hated he left.

I enjoyed Bob and Joel as cohost....haven't listened much in the last couple of years.

I listen to T & L at work and driving, religiously. It’s my go to podcast. I have several other ms that range across several other topics (not just sports) but T&L is the one i rarely miss an episode of. Even my younger kids don’t complain when I play it. I used to have to drive them 45 mins to school every morning when their mom and I split and it was basically part of our daily routine.

That being said, the new co-host leaves a lot to be desired. He’s too young to relate to hadad i believe. I never listened before Robbie was on there so I don’t know what the show was like before. I will continue to listen and hope they figure it out. Am I alone in this thought?

Every time Brian has gotten a new co-host, the show has evolved a bit, and it has taken time for them to hit their stride. I think you've just gotta give them a few months. Maybe for football season, Brian could expand his harem of cohosts to get someone more MSU football focused to come on once a week or so as well.

Im 39, and I actually really enjoy that hes not a carbon copy of Robbie, who was just a younger Hadad on a lot of stuff. It's nice to hear since ginger perspective on things and most importantly to me, he's not a jaded fan where everything is awful. He brings a much lighter take to the show that isn't just sunshine pumping. I'm enjoying him a lot. I do need Brooks to get away from so much coach speak though when hes giving his take on the weekend series, which I'm sure will happen.
