Let's say you are right. That nothing about Russian collusion is found......BUT......they find out something else? Say, and speaking hypothetically, that Trump used campaign funds to pay out "hush" money..........what then?

This is all about Cohen the refinancing of his mortgage. I would bet that he lied on the application about what the use of the funds were for, and didn't disclose it was to pay off of porn star. If there is any evidence of that, any at all, like the testimony of a porn star, then it would be easy for a judge to grant the warrant and raid his offices.

If he lied on those forms, he broke the law.

I'll defer to you since you're the Grammar Queen. The usage in the first sentence was not in the past tense. It was......in the second sentence.

It's not about tense. Look up the meaning of recommended or recommend, take your pick. Juries can recommend a sentencing; the judge actually enacts the sentencing.
