That will bring on a hell of a legal action. Probably bring on hell of political action too.

Predict heads will roll if there is not legal/Constitutional need other than action to get to sitting president. It will quickly be a Supreme Court matter to test lawyer/client protection. I would think it would be the same quick action to reverse any case coming forth by the use of records that would receive lawyer/client protection.

Even doubt J. Edgar ever pulled such a stunt to get to gangster world of yesteryear.

dangerous precedent...lawyer-client privilege...deep sea fishing expedition
Not sure that’s the case. It’s certainly tricky, no question, but if Cohen was knowingly covering up or “colluding” on a crime, I think he’s fair game. One of the many criminal law guys on here would know more. I’m strictly constitutional law.

I would think it's a very slippery slope.

But it's very indicative of how off the rails this investigation has gone. It's Whitewater all over again.

He could be a target of an investigation and it would make sense.

Hell, Hillary was the only one who stole records from Rose Law firm. Don't remember federal agencies entering into the fiasco . Am I wrong again?

Did status change over night. Only a couple days back, Trump's attys notified that he was not a target. His value was only that of a witness.

I meant if Cohen were a target. I am not sure if or when lawyer client privilege is waived but if raiding lawyers for information was a viable tool the feds would have used it against the mob and many others decades ago.

It’s not the SP office, it’s the Wray (yeah, the guy Trump appointed) directed FBI

Don't want to confuse you with facts, it is easier for you to live your life of lies, You are still the biggest liar on this board. A chickenshit to boot You are still a lying, wannabe, confessed **********. You have my name and address if you really wanted to kick my 77 year old ***. The only thing holding you back is that yellow streak that runs the length of your back head to your ***. I tried to get you to meet me at the Texas game several years back. I even asked which undertaker parking lot you preferred. Instead of meeting me you hid for nearly a year. Kicking my *** is something you cannot do with your tongue. You need to stick with Knox for exchanging dick licking with that other **********.

I see this as really bad for Cohen. this warrant had to be not only approved by a judge, but also had to be signed off on by the US Attorney of SDNY, a recent Trump appointee. Given everything this could set off, they still decided there was enough evidence to go forward with a multi-site no knock raid.

This is a huge deal for him.

His days of practicing law are coming to an end. Trump denies knowing about the NDA, didn’t sign the NDA and denies knowing about the payment. Very bad deal for Cohen.

Trump responds by saying that the FBI "broke into" the office and that this is an "attack on our country"........

A lot of people will dinged with this witch hunt. But none of them will have anything to do with Russian collusion.

Let's say you are right. That nothing about Russian collusion is found......BUT......they find out something else? Say, and speaking hypothetically, that Trump used campaign funds to pay out "hush" money..........what then?
