And I’m not talking about all the people that had been complaining to this point.

Losing Zion to Duke, losing at home to an unranked Florida team, and now probably losing 4-6 guys off of a team that just isn’t good.

Even the bluest of goggles, myself included, are starting to think things might be headed in the wrong direction.

I mean the arena was dead tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if this is the last sellout of the year.

Already have turned. Name me something that is better at UK than at Duke right now. UK is not the gold standard anymore. I hate it, but that goes to Duke.

Kentucky is the only team in the nation losing one year guys to the D-league. That's fine looking out for your kids, but you also are hired to coach at this University. I'm all for doing the best for the kids but OAD to the D league is not in the best interest of anyone.

I’ve tried to remain rational. But unless this thing gets turned around before Brad graduates, I don’t think this lasts more than those two years.

The ever predictable panic on this board commences.

By saying "already have turned", I don't mean that I have. I'm very frustrated by the state of this program, but I'm still a fan but I would like to see Cal change his style and be more about the school than getting kids to the NBA.

I hope Cal bolts to see the idiots squirm.
If you think I’m squirming when Cal leaves you’re sadly mistaken. Bottom line is he’s always been an average coach who made a living recruiting. Now that he isn’t doing great at that he’s just like any other coach. A massively overpaid and overrated one at that. The last 3 years have been VERY Tubby-like.

Meh, no biggie. Barney will send Jones, Gabriel, Buzz and the other media gnats out to set them straight.

Cal's best years are behind him. When you have a recruiter as a coach and he loses his ability to recruit elite talent this is what you get.
Sad thing is they will leave early like they're Davis or Wall.

We were one play away from the final four last year and had a team capable of winning it all. Eat ****. Ok frustrated too but it doesn't mean our coach sucks. This season isn't over yet and I remember all the morons going wild in 2014 and we went on a deep tourney run and everyone pretended like they didn't think the sky was falling the whole year.

Were we really? We were playing above our heads and were lucky that we were even in that position.

Something needs fixed here

I don't know if Barbee is to blame for anything but I never like the idea of former head coaches returning back to being assistants. Its a host of issues. You want a young hungry guy who is going to kill himself trying to make a name in the college ranks. Antigua, Pastner - wouldn't want either one back. Once they get the head coaching position, they can't recapture that desire again.

As for kids leaving, I'm sure we'll lose 1, maybe 2, and I know this isn't the rationale that can be applied to their decision making but they're kidding themselves - if we or they think there are players on that team that won't be in the G League in 2 years trying to keep from playing overseas. They all need to return
