I see where the NCAA is taking steps to speed up the football games. Here is my thoughts...fwiw....reduce the time for 'change of possession' and also...do something about the 'fake injures'. Fake injures are pathetic. Relative to the 'flops' in college basketball.
Football is a violent sport we can all Agree on that. It’s hard to say “fake injury” when so many collisions and violence on each and every play.
with that said to me the easiest and most logical solution to “stop fake injuries” is to implement a rule that says if you leave the field for an injury you cannot return until your teams next series.
You make it that and only players with real
Injuries will leave or pretend to be injured for the sake of slowing down the clock.
It seems like a very rational and simple fix to curb the problem and eliminate any doubt.
Why won’t they do this?
