The days of Keith Bogans and Jeff Sheppard are long since gone. The kids nowadays have way more people in their ears and the $ has gone over the edge. The above mentioned may look at playing differently now, times have changed my friend.Sounds like someone needs to introduce PJ to Jeff Shepard.
But to each his own
True, but for all you know he could be and probably is FOSNot insulting or calling other posters names. This whole thing seems to have become a pissing contest on the part of some.
See that’s exactly what I’m talking about. And I type that with a smile. It’s like JV all over again. Maybe UK needs to put a podiatrist on the coaching staff.True, but for all you know he could be and probably is FOS
I just tend to hedge my bets when a guy NO ONE has ever heard of comes on a message board and acts like he knows more than anyone elseSee that’s exactly what I’m talking about. And I type that with a smile. It’s like JV all over again. Maybe UK needs to put a podiatrist on the coaching staff.
In your rush to virtue signal you are leaving out he was cleared by doctors mid year, Cal voiced frustration and made cryptic comments as did others around the program around that time, and then was actually injured again later in the year and held out.
I'm still just setting here trying to figure out HOW he got injured. I've already succumbed to the fact he's out tomorrow, but for the life of me can't figure out what happened.
Excellent post and I have to say that Jeff Shep immediately came to mind when word started circulating late Thursday night that PJ probably wouldn't play on Sat.No one is calling anyone anything.
If you or anyone else don't like that some are puzzled by all this, then I don't know what to tell you.
The OP stated he had facts. OK. If you read them, it sure sounds like PJ is possibly being held back for draft purposes to some degree.
Maybe it is harsh for some too except, but many of us old guys are used to seeing players suit up and go with "mild" sprains as Coach Cal has called it.
Is it worse than a mild sprain? That is what many of us are wondering.
I have been asked by countless people today about his interview last night saying his pain was a 10 and then was seen jumping around smiling during the game.
I took it as he was wanting to play, maybe going to get back soon, like this weekend with seeing his actions. But not everyone, including many sportscasters who saw the same thing and are like, "wow" is he in pain?
Sorry if you can't understand fans like me do not think we should have to get the "facts' from some online board and question things that do not add up.
Yes, I do question players today and their ability to fight thru adversity. It is not only in sports snowflake, but in real life as well.

The dubious reaction to JV at the end of the year was born out of the mid year comments by Cal and others around him sitting out despite being cleared. It was not contrived idiocy. There is also a lot of frustration from reasonable fans about how injuries are poorly communicated overall.
I’m not “virtue signaling”
I’m pointing out the idiocy of the fans who claimed Vanderbilt sat out of the tournament to protect his draft stock by mentioning he didn’t play in a game for 365 days.
Those same dolts are insinuating the same with PJ. That’s a strong accusation to make against someone’s character without a shred of evidence to back it up.

Article just came out over on the athlete site about his dad saying somthing about how people are saying the "family" has shut him down. Which the father denied

I'm just the messenger go read the article
Because doing the opposite is an indictment on the entire brand that’s been built here. Can’t have thatLol this was an easy call as to what was going on and people will still back the player above all, even when it’s clearly hurting the team they support.
No thanks.
It’s a free app.So what the does article say? Cuz I’m not paying for that haha

Don’t know what it says. I’m not paying for that info either. Was just linking where the info is for the person that asked. So what the does article say? Cuz I’m not paying for that haha
Exactly. Lol"Will PJ play again?"
"Yes...yes, this is not a career ending mystery injury, and PJ will be playing in the NBA next season."
And Payne says he will....Don’t pay for anything. PJs dad wants us to treat PJ like he’s our son. He ain’t playing again at UK
