Geno got on the wrong side of a Jets beat writer in his 2nd year. The guy worked tirelessly to hammer Geno. It took a toll on Genos image.

Honestly, the other issue was Jets fans were not ready for a black QB. Is what it is. Had Geno been white he’d of been given time to develop like a bunch of white guys that came before him.

Lot of WVU fans turned on Geno that last year. They forget that he would of had to put up 70 to win most games because any team could score at will against us. The only thing keeping their scores down was them trying to run clock
