Keion is playing more mins this year than his first two years so it would stand to reason his ppg and rpg would go up.
Compared to year 1, he's shooting slightly worse (48.6% eff FG% this season vs 49.2% last season), not grabbing as many rebounds as before 6.8% this season offensive boards compared to 8.5, 13.8% defensive boards this season compared to 15.4% and he's turning it over at a slightly higher rate (19.4% to 18.3%).
In fact, Keion is basically the textbook definition of what I'm meaning in that sometimes you just are what you are.
Toppin in year 3 has he gotten better?
Heck Allen in year 2 has been worse
Mintz has taken a step forward this year but it's took him till year 5 (albeit he's carrying less of the load than he did in the past). His 4th season was very compared to his very first one but he did improve somewhat.
Sometimes the light goes on and kids get it. Other times tho it's much of the same for four straight years.
I showed stats that show Brooks has improved, you pulled odd shooting stats to try to prove he's not better, even though we're not even halfway through this season. Besides that, Brooks is now on his 3rd completely different team. I can only imagine that can’t be easy for an average player to figure out.
Allen is still a sophomore. Not only that, but he gets spot minutes and even when he's hitting shots, he gets yanked. But again, we're not even halfway through his sophomore year.
Lets talk about Liggins, Richards, or WCS, or Darius Miller, or Willis, or Hawkins… heck, are their any others? There's only been a few, but those 5 showed great improvement and three of them left with one more year of eligibility remaining.
We can also look at the rosters of the programs that are winning titles and getting to final fours. All of them have juniors and seniors that got better every year. We can disect them if you want.
