They should hold fall camp in Junction, Texas and practice on dirt fields full of goat head burrs and run gassers for three hours at a time. That would probably free up a lot of scollies for 2019.Anyone notice the bloody shins on the power cleans? I like it. A few scraped up shins shows they’re puttin’ in work. I’m guessing we haven’t seen bloody shins effort level in the weight room in several years.
They took pics of the players in January, and Frost was not impressed. There in no comparison in terms of how closely their nutrition is being monitored vs the previous staff. They are even wearing Fitbits to monitor the amount of sleep they get each night.
Got to wonder who Gebbia beat in the tug of war.McQuitty crushed Keyan Williams, seeing Gebbia in on that is awesome!
Gebbia wants it. This kid is going to shock us I think this year. Calling it now, he will be the starter come fall.McQuitty crushed Keyan Williams, seeing Gebbia in on that is awesome!

I'm calling it now...I have absolutely no idea who will be the starter come fall.
Lol well you only have 3 options. So you do have an idea.I'm calling it now...I have absolutely no idea who will be the starter come fall.
If I had to guess now. I would say it will a battle between him and Martinez. With Gebbia winning out. He could shock us all but I don't see POB being much in the mix.Bigger surprise is if Gebbia is NOT the starter this fall IMO.
If I were POB and was not in the mix, I'd think about giving Craig Bohl a call. Personally, I think he is very much in the mix.If I had to guess now. I would say it will a battle between him and Martinez. With Gebbia winning out. He could shock us all but I don't see POB being much in the mix.
Spring practice (1 day) March 16th: Then spring break March 17th - 24th: have FB meeting on Sunday 25th: Monday, good stuff,,,,,,have they announced when spring practice is going to start or not? Does anyone know?
Bigger surprise is if Gebbia is NOT the starter this fall IMO.
Because all the feedback on him last year made it sound like he was the true #2 performer but they wanted to preserve his RS. Because he'll have had two springs and a fall of playing college football and practicing against D-1 athletes. Why would it be more of a surprise?
Why would it be more of a surprise?
They used these rubber devises called TUGS- to do tug of war- so their kids wouldnt get rope burns. Competition is how the big boys train their kids to be warriors and love competition
Clemson does the same thing:
I don't think it is going to come down to talent or skill level. We all know, all 3 are very talented Qbs and athletes. It is going to come down to who does the most work and learns the quickest. Right now by all accounts Gebia has been studying and watching film more than anyone on the team since Frost got there. Also seems to be stepping up as a team motivator and leader. That was my thought process. Three QBs practicing in a new system. All 3 ran some in their high school systems, with Martinez and O'Brien having better success running the ball than Gebbia, and O-Brien and Gebbia both throwing for 70+ completion %. Martinez was at 60%, but ran for 1,400 yards as a junior. Looks pretty wide open to me.

Because he's a notorious film rat so he's certainly not going to be outworked in terms of knowing the offense. Because he's probably the best passer on campus. Because POB looked shaky at best in limited backup duty last year. Because Martinez has played exactly one game involving real contact in the last year.
Because there's a lot more throwing involved with this offense than people realize and as the staff battles to build an OL and running game, they may find themselves having to air it out to try to stay in games.
