1. Best I can tell all SEC vs SEC games will be on TV. Out of conference, depends on if they want to pick it up. So I am guessing MTSU will not be on TV.
2. I would guess 11:00am games will happen now, as ESPN has games on that time now. It is only a 30 minute difference. If you could make JP/LF you can make that.
3a. I am guessing no choice on SEC conference game times. They gave us $2 billion dollars. If you are the 11 am game you suck it up. Again, only 30 minutes earlier.
3b - Out of conference, I am sure it is your choice, but we are not in the position to turn down the free publicity and $200K-$400K for an extra TV appearance. The only teams that turn down games are your really programs(LSU, Bama, UF, Texas) on Thursday nights. Everyone else plays on TV when they can. Plus, it is the coach's first game, you want all the coverage there you can get, so the highlights get shown on sportscenter. The fans will come either way.
4 - I am guessing same deal as before - CBS gets some first picks, ESPN/ABC the others. ESPN, ESPN2 picks are really a mute point.
Also, the games don't have to be show on ESPN, they mearly bought the rights to them. They can option them off to FSN, etc. ESPN also counts broadcasting as ESPNU, ESPN360, ESPN PPV.
I would think JSU might be on TV, being Mullen's first game(national championships, tebow, first head coaching gig, trying out spread), our first game without Croom is vs. a historically black school, and there are not many big games that day. Sounds like an 11 am game, but I am hoping for 6pm
