Looking at out rotation.....
1st year RU players (3) AY, PM, JY
2nd year RU players (7) MD, SQ, MJ, CM, MM, RHJ, PK
3rd year player (1) GB

None of those 11 players I can say with certainty are anything more than role players. On the flip side 8-10 of them have upside and can turn in to MAJOR players. On a player by player basis I have serious doubts. However 8-10 bare minimum can play.
If you have to wait until you see it then you'll always be behind the curve. Always.

To add....the only guy in my mind that looks special had a up and down year last year and has been noticibly absent in any preseason praise.
Are you not allowed to mention Mathis by name?

Can't believe he's the only guy who looks special though

I have. I think we finish 5th-7th.

1) I think Michigan is gonna take a big stinky dump and have their worst year in a while.

Michigan has been to 3 straight sweet 16s. Simply making the round of 32 would be a downfall and their worst season in a while. No matter how great Beilein was it will be tough for Michigan to finish outside the top half of the conference. Simpson and Teske are probably the 2 best individual defenders in the conference and there is plenty of other high end individual talent like Livers, Johns, Castleton, Wagner, and DeJulius.

I am obviously biased but I would be more shocked if Michigan finished bottom 4 in the conference than if they made the Final Four again.

I got us at 10-1 OOC with the one loss coming from one of Pitt, SHU, NJIT, Bonnies.

conference I have us at 12-8.

1-1 at big ten tourney

overall 23-10 and an 9-10 seed.

if we dont win 20 games the season should be deemed a failure
I didnt nail the teams wed finish ahead but my prediction was pretty close. I had us at 22-9 regular season. Didnt think wed lose bonnies and thought wed beat michigan at home. Overall excellent season right in line with expectations

Not bad. That excruciating one-point loss in Crappy Valley cost you that 12th conference win.

Also admittedly didnt think wed win at purdue. My preseason prediction had us winning at home vs mich, losing @ purdue and beating iowa on the road to get to 12 conference wins
