Ok, I admit the friendly trash talk amongst my small contingency and the Eastside tailgaters began to get over the top prior to the game. However, I’d never say or do anything to hurt a kid. In hindsight, nobody cared what I had to say until the game began to unfold. But, I think we both know I’m not the type to hide behind a keyboard. Nonetheless, apologies to the kids... no need to rekindle all this or make excuses at this point. Should be a great game!

Ok MC is the Premier private school football program in Illinois. Yall able to recruit the whole "state" of Chicago, the 3rd largest city in the country. And yall ran out of blue, never play premier school from surrounding states or compete for national championships. So why yall brang so much. Yall should win most games. IJS

My tailgate was engulfed by east St. Louis tailgaters.... I responded to their trash talk, if you’re implying that we are intimidated then you’re misled... and does it really matter where I am? The smoke will smell the same regardless of location...
