Carter was a solid role player too. I forgot about him. When Geo was out, remember that Paul, Caleb and Mag were starting to play together nicely (see Purdue game). We’re not starting from scratch. We’re returning Cliff and a group of solid role players with experience.

Nope - but the less returning guys we have the more certain it is that we’ll get portal guys that can play. The two are directly correlated. So it doesn’t matter. No team with a decent coach will ever be as bad as we were in Pike’s first year again. The no sit out rule changes everything.
