Well done hanging in there, South Point Red Raiders. Pisgah seems to have struggled a little at times against #32 Southern Guilford (Eastern Guilford's rival). Practice strong this week and then go into their house like the 2003 Red Raiders did to Asheville.
Tyson Riley finished the game with 35 carries for 372 yards and 5 tds!!
That game was fun to watch. EG has some athletes and serious speed but SP did their normal pounding and the defense decided to tighten up on the corners in the 4th quarter. Until then EG threw the ball underneath all night to those athletes and they made plays. Riley was a monster the whole game and owned the 4th quarter.
Wow, that’s crazy. Imagine how good SP’ offense would be if Riley had some consistent help.

Pisgah won’t be playing at home. Their field was destroyed this spring when the Pigion River flooded. A lot of there “home” games were played at Tuscola High School in Waynesville this year. Tuscola is also in the playoffs. I haven’t seen their score yet. I don’t know where next weeks game will be played.
Has anyone seen the Pisgah/SG score? EG beat SG 56-0 earlier this year.
I saw where Concord beat Tuscola. Pisgah will probably host South Point at Tuscola next week.
Pisgah won 29-20. Should've been worse than that. 25 penalties in the game. Ridiculous. You can take 7 off that score for SG too, really bad call by the refs but whatever. This was Pisgah's first "home" game in waynesville btw. They've played at Erwin and Enka for their regular season home games.

It's called 1st round playoffs when gas is $3.20 and food has gone sky high. Families will save 60 bucks and come next week.
