Buzz, I was asking a serious question. I do not know their playmakers. I was asking our East Surry neighbors and friends who we should be looking for. I was not minimizing their team. So if you know the team so well, how about adding something useful.
Yes sir I know. I wasn't trying to be smart mouth was just saying up front is their playmakers they are good. And I think Lowman is a difference maker.
I agree Buzz line play, quarterback play and Lowman has been in big games.
Mt Airy needs to jump out to a lead early and put pressure on ES defense. If the Bears can get yards on the ground should be heck of a game.
This game could be 55-45 MA can score quick.
I think we're better on defense than you give us credit for. I think we'll make them drive. And stop them a few times. Question is can they stop us. Old Folger is hard to stop. Going to be a great game. I just think we have too much size.
Roughtradder what style offense does MA run now. We went there in playoffs in 09 and they were pretty dang good then. Used TE alot down middle against us,also RB out backfield.
Boy this game is gonna be good . Really Explosive MA team with a big ES team. That bears defense will put it together they got a game under their belt don’t underestimate them. That offense is amazing with the pieces they have. East will have to try and stop that explosive offense, we shall see. East will have to make plays both offense and defense in order to win this game. Both have great coaching staffs… I like this battle. What do you’ll think?

#4. He’s not a big kid just a little shifty. about 5’8 150. He plays running back and receiver some . He can play that’s for sure!

Beating Tarboro is a tall challenge. I would have liked the opportunity to find out. Our defense will have to mature in order to get there this year.
And the final score was? If they beat us by 4 TDs why did we play Tarboro in the Finals? What a bunch of morons.
It’s hard to speculate the outcome of games not played because of the matchups and differences in speed

But at the end of the day the scoreboard will say Mitchell 21 Mount airy 14
Mitchell won the game thats all that matters is final score on scoreboard. MA may been better team but didnt handle their buisiness and Mitchel did period. And guys nobody beats Tarboro next 3 to 4 seasons they may have best teams they have had in past 5 years. Good freshmen class last year and this.
I am interested in watching MA JV Thursday at E Surry. MA dress 42 on JV and look to have some good atheletes.
