USC and Georgia were both in on him before he committed to tOSU. They are going to be in the mix ahead of NU I’d imagine.

Unless something has changed since our program defining win against the neighbors to the east, we still don't have a line, and are devoid of a single play maker. Not sure why a #1 rated QB would seriously look our way, yet, so here's to hoping our rebuild is on the fast track.
wth? We have playmakers and we'll have a line by the time Dylan would get to NU. Geez.

I think this greatly depends on the kind of offense Rhule runs. Isn’t this kid a pocket passer?

It’s possible Rhule wants more of dual threat QB but I have no idea. Would still be a great get, though.

I just think we need to wait and see what the team’s identity will be.

Empty the NIL coffers on this kid.
That would require Matt Davison being involved. Better just keep that dipshit at arms length on this one. Nobody wants a nut hugging leech bugging the real talent

Well I think he did actually visit Lincoln previously a couple of times although obviously not since Rhule has been named the new coach. It might help if we actually had a QB coach named already.

My Take: It's a long shot. I also think there must be some serious NIL factors in play for him which complicates/muddies things but there's a slim possibility.
Is it possible that we have a QB coach lined up, and they have relayed that to Dylan? Fingers crossed!

I would love to have this kid in Lincoln to play for the Big Red. But if he were my son, there is no way I wouldnt want him to play for Lincoln Riley. That dude is a QB guru.

USC already had a 5-star QB committed in the 23 class that is very close to Lincoln Riley. He committed to him at Oklahoma and flipped to USC when Riley took that job. Could be a long road to get on the field at USC.

You remind me of all the people who make predictions of each game before the season justifying how we "always" beat them or they are "always" bad.

How sad and pathetic is it to actually say these teams are or have been terrible forever and yet we find a way to lose to them? That is how far this program has fallen but yet we don't want to admit it. Everyone is beating us including the Georgia Southerns and teams that only get one win on the season.

Reminds me of the guy who just got his butt kicked in a fight, is bleeding all over and is laying on his back and flips the tough guy off just to show how dumb he really is.

Thank you.

It’s also like all the people who constantly crap on the B1G while never actually beating anyone in the B1G. Like, losing to Northwestern and Minnesota. Purdue and Illinois. Squeaking out games against Iowa. These aren’t exactly powerhouses.

At least beat those teams consistently before talking **** about them. It’s like the Jags talking about how bad the AFC South is. It’s like, yeah it is pretty bad. In large part because you’re in it.

Imagine claiming to be a Husker fan, and this is your first thought when a legacy opens up his recruitment. Sadly some still think there’s no way these ā€œstoriesā€ of a lazy *** drunk not doing the basics of his job could possibly be true

When you say we have the playmakers - who and are they enough? As far as the line, we are talking two years so that gives us some time I guess but the past has not been kind in that area as well especially given the time it takes to develop the OL.

IMO even with our losses we have a very talented RB and WR room. Washington and ALANTE Brown are very talented guys. I emphasized Brown because I think he’ll blow up this year

I would have expected at least 750k
There’s a difference between 270k guaranteed and the million Ewers was supposed to get at OSU IF he started a certain number of gamesšŸ˜‰. BIG difference. I don’t think Ewers ended up getting anything from that OSU booster.

Here's the problem Dylan has with USC, They have a commitment from Malachi Nelson a 5 star player from Los Alamitos, Ca. It's an easier path for Dylan for Georgia, they have a 4 star Gunner Stockton they have in the fold from the 2021 recruiting cycle.

How much do you think Dylan will get from Nebraska (NIL) if he was to say yes? I'm not saying he's coming here but how much would it take to get him to potentially say yes?

Wait, so you are saying there is an expectation of playing football for the University if you take NIL money? It's not just a gift, and the business giving it to you does care about whether or not you play, or how much you play, and kind of expects you to play football if you take their money? Weird. (Not pointed in your direction promise).

Do you think the #1 QB recruit in the country is afraid of competition? And regardless, if he didn't win the job his first year, he could always transfer the next year.

If Dylan commits he is the day 1 starter. It's how we lost Gabbert and Josh Freeman to Misery and KStinks
