Almost impossible to judge Dylan at Nebraska outside of his stats.

Why?

We judge every QB on a number of things. But you continue to suck the air out DR's football and glorify his carefully manipulated pass %.

I know I'll get a 23-sentence run-on response from you (no paragraph breaks is a bonus) But why is it "almost impossible" to judge any QB outside their stats?

Oregon has never had any class.. to imply Nebraska shared this same level of douchbaggery in the 80's is laughable at best.

I believe K State and Iowa State were both at the bottom of Division I win totals until things got better for them KU and Okie State were often easy wins. I think Tom played something like 25 ranked schools that today would be considered p4 schools in just his first 10 years alone and he won more than half of them. The Huskers used to always played ranked teams in bowls as well.

KU at one point was considered one of if not the worst D-1 football schools.

Dylan’s stats are honestly the last thing anyone should use to judge him

The cosplay, the hangers-on, the atrocious body language, the complete lack of leadership are where everyone should start

and where everyone should’ve been paying close attention at the outset instead of arguing against facts (all of which I of course was pointing out from day 1)

Dylan was a legacy 5 star recruit, the head coach making 10 million bent over backwards for him to come here, including retaining his awful uncle as the most important position coach while not providing any real competition or opportunity for development. He was also saddled with one of the worst OCs of the last 10 years in the entire sport, one of the worst oline coaches, and played every game until that oline broke his leg. He is also the slowest qb I have ever seen, and has a ton of holes. Again, not really going to judge a true freshman and sophomore from a leadership or mental perspective...he was certainly alot better than Lateef.

So ignore the literal football and then criticize him for how his body looks in between plays...that fricken weird. But I am doing the same thing with Colandrea so....

I don’t ( didn’t) mind Dylan. Most of his issues was Dom related. He was controlled by Dom . He would sit in HS student sections at BB games The reason ge came to Nebraska was because Dom had full control and he knew Rhule would start him. I won’t root against the kid but I will be surprised if he is QB1 when Oregon comes to Lincoln next year

You gave 0 reasons he cannot be judged beyond his stats. You are making excuses for the kid that were actually caused by DR and/or his family. No free pass.

I liked him and rooted for him. But your obsession with his completion % is extreme. Judge him on the whole package. He chose Nebraska knowing Satterfield was going to be his OC. Then he had a little bit of Dana as OC. Early indications are Dana is a better OC with Colandrea than Raiola.

Look deeper man... good grief.
