Is it any wonder they invited Wisconsin? That fan base has to be a high-quality target audience for any condiment maker.

There's surely a way to turn Duke's Mayo into a killer dipping sauce for fried cheese curds.

No altering needed. It's great as is!

I'll have to give it a try. In my area it looks like it's only sold at Walmart, but I could duck in there now that the Christmas stampede is over.

Mertz isn’t the passer everyone thought he would be after the Illinois game in October..

it sucks we aren't in a bowl

also, betting against the B1G in bowl games is a tradition unlike any other. what a crap conference, top to bottom, year in and year out.

The Big 10 is 64-57 ats in bowl games since 2002. Second best power 5 conference ats behind the SEC. So now sure what you’re talking about there

@Muskyhunter16 the B1G is 55-69 in bowl games in that same time frame (pathetically horrendous, dead last in all of P5, only the AAC and MAC are worse in FBS). they're 3rd best in P5 against the spread, behind the SEC and ACC.

moneylines are for men, spreads are for boys.

I'll once again be laughing all the way to the bank this bowl season courtesy of the B1G's putridity against the rest of college football.

also, learn how to quote posts one time for us. least you can do while insisting on stanning this garbage pile conference constantly.

So you just play money lines on favorites lol. Good way to go busted in the wagering world guy. Why dont you post your CFB betting record this year with results and Ill post mine. Or let me guess, you don’t even play or know how to do such a thing. Or better yet, lets see that money line wager you played on Wake Forest for this game and I’ll show you mine. Jag

Ok so wait, you only play Money Line favorites against the Big 10 is that right? So if a Big 10 team is a dog you just play the ML favorite? Man you would been busted real fast 3 years ago in bowl season when the Big 10 went 7-1 with most games as Big 10 teams a dogs

no, today I'm playing a ML dog (wake +310) against the B1G. I take the ML against the B1G regardless of if they're favored or not.

you see, it's the worst P5 conference in bowl games straight up since 2002. it's a winning formula, even with 2017 factored in.

run along now, little girl. the B1G, like your slant, sucks.

An by the way, I don’t love the Big 10, I just think the conference is tough as nails with the defense that is played and after the Huskers being a part of it for 10+ Years now, it has been eye opening for me. It still gets dogged on by a ton of people around the country, including yourself obviously, but I just think its a damned good hard nosed conference top to bottom most years.

well, its bowl record and playoff record says otherwise.

it's a paper tiger every year, propped up by preseason rankings and exposed every holiday season.

the B1G blows and deserves to be ripped to shreds for everything from administration to on-field performance.

Nobody is beating Clemson and Alabama in bowl games whether they’re in the Big Ten conference or not...It’s a moot point...

B1G faired well last year.. Every conference teams will lose some bowl games..

Agree to disagree I guess. Again, all these games are “road” games for the Big 10. Move the Rose bowl to Chicago or Lambeau each year and I guarantee you most of those Pac teams wouldnt even get off the bus let alone compete in a game in Big 10 country. But I hear you, straight up the bowl record isnt good, ats its been fine. Wisconsin is 5-2 in their last 7. Iowa has won 4 in a row. I just can’t see your strategy coming out ahead money wise if I actually broke down the numbers. But either way, agree to disagree I guess

Both teams' punting units looked like they borrowed the Huskers' special teams analyst for this game.

Instead of a Gatorade bath for the winning coach, are they going to dump a jug of mayonnaise on him? Last night at the Cheese-It's bowl, they dumped a cooler of Cheese It's on the coach.

Lol moving the Rose Bowl to Chicago😂.

Just think if they moved the Orange Bowl to Omaha Nebraska..

Nebraska would have 2 or 3 more National titles moving to colder weather

B1G avg spread is +3. there aren't a ton of giant ML favorites in these bowl games. they rarely get over -200.

then there's today where I triple my money betting against this joke of a wisc team haha!

I live about 40 mins from the Wisconsin border and there is a place called I believe the Cheese Castle along I-94 like as soon as you get into WI. They're not playing about dairy up there like NE don't play about steak.

Anyone who tells you deep fried cheese curds aren't a gift to mankind is lying to you and to themselves.

Exactly, and thats never discussed but I always think about that stuff every year. Theres a lot to be said about comfort in location to where a game is being played

You do know bowl games are a reward and kids want to play and practice in nice weather and enjoy their time at the bowl site..

Where would you want to be Miami or Pasadena or Detroit or Chicago, maybe Minneapolis if you were a student athlete?

Oh I love a good cheese curd as much as the next guy.

As long as the next guy isn't a 400-pound Badger fan eating them like popcorn.

No I get it and realize the reason big bowl games are in nice climates. But the argument always comes up that the SEC and Pac 12 and ACC have better bowl records, well no Sh** they have better records, they’re all in their home state, some of them in their actual home school stadiums, they better have better bowl records

That is why Southern Cal is 34-19 in bowl games. Most of those wins were in the Rose Bowl..

Mertz isn’t the passer everyone thought he would be after the Illinois game in October..
Illinois had a horrid pass defense and weren’t within 5 yards of any Wisconsin receivers. You and I could have completed those passes. Of course NU couldn’t throw on Illinois though. Just like we couldn’t run on Minnesota’s worst run defense in the country.

I don't think Nebraska can really throw stones about obesity from its glass house.
