You’re correct about the “why”, but the rule classifies it as “runner interference” because he touched the wrong bag. That suggests it wasn’t necessary to touch him as he ran back to first, but i can’t confirm that.

I have only seen few regular season games my bad on Albright I know he comes from athletic family. We definitely need miller I hate he got hit hopefully he is good to go. It had to be painful

So boiled down to its basics, we may be without our 2 best offensive players tomorrow. Gracia will be back Sunday, but Miller still sounds like a day-to-day case. Oy.

I was really surprised Miller's response was as tepid about playing as it was.

Like I said in a tweet and tried to allude to in the story -- he looked OK taking grounders to me. It'd be somewhere between surprising and shocking if he's not in the lineup tomorrow, at least IMO.

Tough game by Kyle Johnson and proksch. Hindy scared me and Ben’s wrist is affecting his batting. I wonder if Johnson can be DH for miller tomorrow? Glad to see it was just cramps

Miller hit a couple of balls right on the screws but right at somebody, so I’m confident he’ll be fine hitting today. What can you say about Johnson (our own Dusty Rhodes, for those old enough to remember or know who he was), Prosch and Easterly? So clutch!

Hopefully Gracia’s return will add a little more pop to the lineup.

Great start ruined by Kyle Johnson’s worst game ever. This sucks especially with how good he was yesterday. He gets us out but we’re down 3-2

well looks like we’re playing game 3 tomorrow. Murray state is good but pitiful pitching today. Not sure we can win tomorrow our day 2 guys are usually pretty good

Duke might lose by 10, hope this motivates them for tomorrow. I think this is their best chance to ever make the World Series again. Today performance was very disappointing in a game to clinch the super regional and advance.
