Duke canceled its mid-week game against Gardner-Webb tonight because of storms in the area. Game won't be made up.

So, Blue Devils get even more rest before a 3-game series against Virginia Tech this weekend.

Griffin Conine out for the year...shoulder surgery. Rough break, because the clock keeps ticking. He'll be around 29 for his possible return.

In terms of what?

It'd take a pretty awful collapse for Duke to miss the NCAA tournament altogether. At 14-10 in the ACC, RPI of 39 before playing 3 games at Clemson (which is 8th in RPI), Duke is comfortably in the field.

In D1Baseball's projection this week, Duke is the 2-seed in WVU's regional.

If Duke wins the series at Clemson and against GT next weekend, has a decent showing in the ACCT -- maybe we're having the same type of discussion we had last year about whether Duke can host a regional.

What a freaking comeback by Duke today. Went down 1-6 after the worst first inning I’ve probably ever seen and we just broke Clemson. It’s not over yet but very impressed today

OT, but will get it in here anyway. Really disappointed w/mens lax loss @ home to a fired-up and scrappy Georgetown team last nite.

Duke's game at Liberty tonight has been canceled because of weather. Won't be rescheduled, obviously, it being the last week of the regular season.

They were the 2-seed in Auburn's regional with yesterday's D1Baseball update.

Kind of feels again like Duke is lined up to be in the hosting discussion. Winning this weekend's series against GT would mean a top-4 seed in the ACC tournament and a good showing there would seem to make it more likely.
