Glad to hear you're against the DSA. Why didn't you just say so.

I'm not the person who brought the boomers into the discussion. One of you cry babies did.
I brought up the boomers, and then you went on your lightly unhinged rant and accused me of things that were false. Honestly, you're the only one that sounds like a crybaby over the last 2 pages here.

But hey, that's neither here nor there. Great talk!

Okay but like.... where do I get in line for everyone paying for my millennial house and my millennial college and my millennial car? I keep paying all this boomer socialism security and they're spending it all and it will be all gone by the time it's my turn.

You really don't want to get into this with this guy. As you probably know he was kicked off of the Penn State board three times and is mentally ill. He will go on and on with trivia or deflections pretty much without end. For example one time, he argued with me for about 10 entries on my abbreviation of "NYTs." (This is illustrative. He is just as bad dealing with what should be serious issues.)Didn't realize what a nutcase he was on this and many other matters. I have him on ignore and undoubtedly he will make up lies when he sees this post. What happens when I refute one of his lies is a makes up three more. On my end, it is easily predictable that you will be totally wasting your time trying to engage him in a logical discussion.

LOL.

Tell the board how your first mail-order bride tried to get herself arrested so she could be deported and get away from you because she was completely unhappy.

Then tell the board how you and that wife shipped your son to China, to be raised for at least a year by people you never met, because you were too busy to be parents.

And then tell the board how your second mail-order bride smeared human feces on your walls before she fled you.

Other than the "mail-order" portion (they were both Chinese nationals, and one you stated wanted a green card), these are all things you volunteered to the board, and aren't at all inaccurate or misrepresented.

How specific do you want me to get? Care to share your detailed positions?

Far more specific than "healthcare reform," for example. The salient point is, it's all empty platitudes with most progressives. And a lot of people like to just list things that could manifest themselves, or be accomplished, in many ways ... and that's usually done so as to avoid revealing details.

Like when conservatives used to say "I believe in the Constitution." Uh, I think most people do, but how does you believing in the Constitution manifest itself? Or, if someone says they just want economic fairness. OK, well, that could mean any number of things, including confiscation of people's property and redistributing it so everyone has equal wealth ... or something as simple as tax cuts for the middle class.

Here, I'll share one of mine:

Increased common sense regulation of firearms ... that includes repeal of the PLCAA, elimination of any and all sales loopholes that avoid checks/reporting, a firearms registry, increased background checks that require an affirmative "yes" after cross-checking sources, the implementation of safety features, such as biometric locks, and tighter storage restrictions.

That would be one of my "radical" liberal beliefs.

WTF? He's the least eloquent speaker, outside of that Miss America pageant chick (or whatever beauty pageant that was), that I've ever witnessed. He makes up words, he slurs words, he just says stupid, nonsensical things ... all on the regular. Kamala, even when she was shorting out, sounded like a rocket surgeon compared to a typical Trump speaking sesh.

The stupid **** MAGA believes

Elijah Manley DSA candidate in FL-20

MacCallum: Tell that to these women whose faces I'm putting up on the screen now…

Manley: My heart obviously hurts for those people but we can't base entire arguments off of anecdotes. The data is not showing that you have thousands of people being murdered or killed by illegal immigrants in the country. We don’t have to use fear in our arguments.

MacCallum: I'm not talking about fear. I'm talking about reality

Manley: The data just does not support your argument.

Larkin said under Medicare for all there would be no premiums no deductibles,no out of pocket costs.
I am on Medicare.
I pay 3000 annually in premiums, I pay deductibles and my out of pocket limit is 5500 annually.
It's not free.

No it's not, but it's a heck of a lot more affordable than the private insurance I was on before I turned 65.

Just saw a graphic on cable.
In 2015 monthly premiums for a benchmark Obamacare plan cost a family 250 dollars.
This year same plan is 625/month.
Why? GOP took away subsidies.
Gonna get worse next year.
So in 2015, an obamacare plan cost roughly the same as Medicare costs me.
We had Medicare for all in 2015.
"Moderate" Obama was actually a progressive? No way... he's a corporatist..,I guess.

The DSA Honors Their Patron Saint – Fidel Castro

LOL... Celebrating his 100th birthday. Priceless. He's done soooo much for everyday Cuban that Cuban nationals cry when they walk into a Home Depot or a Costco here in the US.

https://committeetounleashprosperity.com/hotlines/the-dsa-honors-their-patron-saint-fidel-castro/

While Cubans are today desperately poor (90% poverty rate), Castro’s family are now reported to own 29 luxury homes, four yachts and a private island.

Monica Showalter, who used to compile Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s most wealthy, says the family now sits on cash reserves of $18 billion with many living in Europe and the U.S.

There are two ironic takeaways from this commemoration: first, DSA has finally found a billionaire they like. Unlike most billionaires that the DSA says shouldn’t exist, Castro really did steal his fortune.

Second, the Democrat socialists keep insisting they are NOT communists, but this award simply proves that they share the same impoverishing ideology.

Then why are DSA members the democrat nominees in this election? "They're not mainstream!!!" Doesn't exactly sell well when they are the face of the party at present.
Remember not too long ago they said there were no socialist or communist in the party it was just fear mongering by the right. Now they are out of the closet and open about it....McCarthy was right....

Its the FACT he was right so dont deflect....

What McCarthy got right

  • There was real Soviet penetration of the U.S. government in the 1930s–1940s. The Venona decrypts (released in the 1990s) and later archival material from the former Soviet Union confirmed that the Soviets had dozens of agents and sources inside the State Department, Treasury, OSS, Manhattan Project, and other agencies. Names like Alger Hiss, Harry Dexter White, Lauchlin Currie, and others were not pure inventions.
  • The Communist Party USA was not just a normal political party. It was directed and funded by Moscow and engaged in espionage and influence operations.
  • Some of the people McCarthy and others targeted were security risks, even if the evidence at the time was incomplete.

So the core claim that the U.S. government had been penetrated by people loyal to a hostile foreign power was correct. That part has held up.
