Don’t think they ever have
They don't want to know. They just want to get people to believe they know and then string them along for more ad views. It's all about traffic.

Jones said the quiet part out loud last night about KSR getting 1.2m views. That's what it's about. The more views, the more ad revenue. Plant the bait and watch the ignorant flock.

It isn’t gonna be Hurley. Slim chance for donavon very slim. Drew was the best bet and would/could be very good here. After that Kentucky is in trouble
I'm not convinced Hurley has said no yet. Not saying he will say yes, but I do believe he'll at least have the talk with UK before making a final decision. He has to. In fact, there are 1000 more reasons for Drew to say no than Hurley, in my mind (see my other posts around his tight ties to the Waco and Baylor communities, kids in school, heavy focus on faith, Baylor being open to his heavy focus on faith, the weirdness he and his family would have to endure with a more liberal state college, etc.).

It sounds like he may have turned down our offer. I’m hearing his wife doesn’t want to move. The Craft jet apparrently didn’t have him on it. And why would he tweet this today if he was accepting a UK offer?

Might be time to turn to Plan B.
Could be reps flying back to UK. Letting Drew decide. Boosters probably meeting with him to ask what he wants to stay.

Looks like they could have taken him to a better place.Food doesn't look impressive.
Brother, you and everyone else in America knows damn well that the best food on this planet is served after the chips and salsa. They're buttering him up with real, authentic Tex-Mex.

Hurley will most likely use Kentucky interest to get more from UConn. I just think it’s gonna be drew, that tweet makes me a little nervous but I think at the end of the day he is our guy

Other than Mitch and maybe a couple major boosters, no one knows what's going on. I would've been surprised if he was on that flight to Lexington today. Just didn't make sense.

There’s always one last effort to keep the guy home. That sounds like it’s what this is.

Or it’s another smoke screen because Billy is waiting on it and they’re giving him time.

I believe Billy’s agent has inquired and he’d definitely know if he wanted it or not. No waiting.

Well, it sounds like Plan B, which should have been Plan A, is Hurley. Word everywhere is he's not said no, and even some claim he's got a Zoom call today with Mitch. Of course, that could be a courtesy call from Hurley to say thanks, but no thanks.

I'll be 100% honest here, I'd be SHOCKED if Hurley doesn't at least entertain an interview and offer. It would not shock me at all if Drew said no. Way more reasons for him to say no family and faith-wise than Hurley's "my wife loves New Jersey" rationale.

Can you imagine how pissed off Baylor's fan base would be if their boosters didn't try to keep Drew?

This is a deflect from a coach who is most likely leaving but doesn’t want the Baylor fanbase to come after him

I will say though, the one thing that would make me respect Mitch again is if this is all a ruse. If it turns out that Mitch never wanted Drew at UK and Drew never wanted to come, but since they were friends they worked up this whole brouhaha so the actual targets would wake up and think about what they had to lose with us maybe already having another title-winning coach close to pulling the trigger. Don't see that actually being possible, but if so: kudos, Mitchster. Well played.

Seems to be a passive (but clear) way of saying he's not coming to UK? Can't see him posting a pic like this with that tweet if he was considering leaving...
Would expect something more along the lines of what Oats tweeted if it was definite he is staying at Baylor.
