when i say this the zipps of the world get pissed, but then they sau King is not a louisville man. the dumbest retort ever.

Cal recruits 1000 5 star players and we have strippers and cant get 2 5 star players.

Louisville will be good when pitino is not on the sideline. He is a has been.

Wow... Beasley you thinking about switching over to the dark side...?

We have plenty of dumbasses here too, but no zippers.

The problem, good and bad, is Pitino. He doesn't want 5* players unless they submit to him as being the real 5*. His ego basically gets in the way of the kid having an ego and stardom. Cal is good about letting the kid share the limelight. Pitino does not seem to ever want the player to get the credit. He must have us all believe, as did Bob Knight, that until HE reworked your game...you are nothing. Cal doesn't need that massaging of his ego. If the kid is good...he adjusts to fit the players strength rather than the other way around. IMO

Guarantee you that Pricktino did not grant Mitchell his blessing to go to the NBA. He is lucky to have escaped Pitino's selfish little claws.....

The only player I have seen that Cal tried to "rework" into something that they were not was Skal. I don't think Cal was motivated by his ego but truly believed Skal would have a better chance at an NBA career playing with his back to the basket. That said, Cal is definitely motivated by the dreams of his players where Pricktino is always motivated by what is best for his own dreams.....especially the wet ones.

Pitino will have nothing more to do with him now. He's no longer serving Pitino's purposes, so the kids on his own now.

Probably the best decision the kid has ever made. Good for him. Get outta that cesspool while you can.

One thing is for sure: Theyll reel off 10 or 12 wins against absolutely nobody leading up to our game like they always do. Rick is a disgrace.
They might want to be careful how they schedule.
If they play a bunch of duds, then lose all/most of their tough road games in Rupp and in conference play, they could find themselves sweating it out on selection Sunday.
That pre-conference schedule rank is a big deal.

Sounds like Snider, King, Spalding, Adell?, and Anus as their Starting Lineup. With 4* FR Malik Williams coming off the bench along with a couple other FR ranked in the #90s also contributing. Rankings according to Rivals.

No matter how much you like their returning players, a Pitino coached team that only returns 5 players will be hard to imagine working. Spalding, Anus, and King are going to have to REALLY step up their games and get in condition to play 30+ mpg along with Snider and Adell. They also better pray these Deng Adell rumors are false and nobody gets injured. Their conditioning coach has his hardest job ever with this team returning 5 players for a coach that has always used SEVERAL players every year. I think UL had 10 players avg over 9 mpg last year.

All in my completely worthless opinion as always.
Have you seen their strength and conditioning coach? That guy is seriously intense, they'll either get in top shape by November, or he'll literally eat all of them.

They have a senior PG who torched us last year, King was a 5 star, a lot of length, and a pretty good recruiting class. They'll be a good team no doubt, but Mitchell leaving takes them from top 5 to a top 20ish team.

Saw this on Twitter:

Rick Pitino tells @terrymeiners Deng will move to 2, VJ to 3 spot. "Not concerned about Donovan leaving. ... We'll be a top 20 team again"

LOL oh just a top 20 team... Their line beard drunken fans must be really pissed to go from a top 3 team to a top 20 team with the added gut punch that their coach is ok with only being a top 20 team.
