Even a buck matters. If the number of donations junps it sends a supportive message to the admin here. They obviously listened but they really need to see how important this is to the entire base
Done! I also think we need to send a message and support the cause!!!

Something, anything! Bypass a coffee for two days and donate $5 on Monday as a vote of confidence you cheap bastards.

“I won’t donate a dime while Chris Ash is there.”

Well he’s gone. GIVE SOMETHING PLEASE.

Just gave to the Bells Must Ring campaign for football.

Now Hobbs needs to hire GS back. Then I'll give again, and get some season tickets again.

No need to wait until Monday. You can donate right now online. Even just a few bucks to show that you support what Hobbs finally did today.

If we want Hobbs to be able to hire a quality coach and staff, he needs the budget. Every donor matters. Every dollar matters. It's not getting done without us. That's the bottom line.

Click give in the football box, and let's show we're serious. I gave. Now it's your turn. If our next coach sucks, it's because we didn't step up to the plate as alumni.

No every buck does not matter until Barchi is gone. Every dollar simply reduces the subsidy. Start donating after June of 2020 when Barchi is gone.

Truly funny thread
Most hate Hobbs and want him gone to.
To fire Ash 4 games into a season. Does nothing but reinforce the fact that Rutgers Administration screwed the knight on the entire situation.

now you want to sent them money to show them support. How noble of you, FYI .. Rutgers found the money to fire now. They don’t need a go fund me page. Smh

get real--anyone who replaces him will demand the same or more--if you can't accept that go home

What are you talking about? Show me a fact that donations increase football spending. You are completely stupid to think otherwise.

Ready to donate when I see Hobbs seizing the opportunity to hire the best available candidate.
We need to pony up now to give Pat the support and evidence he needs to be able to open the wallet. If he's stuck with another $2mm hire and a $2.5mm budget for assistants, we will continue to get the same results. Let's make our voices heard. The only way to do that is to put our money where our mouths are. Five, ten fifty dollars. Whatever each of us can afford.

Donations directly to the football program go nowhere else. If you don't want to give, that's your choice, and it's up to you. Just don't use Barchi as an excuse. Don't actively discourage others from trying to make a difference. Shame on you.

Yes they go directly to football but they also reduce school subsidy. No shame. It a fact! Shame that you and others don't understand.

Every donor and dollar is like a vote. If our fanbase was worth anything you would see a massive surge in donations and donors. The admin would notice that. What likely will happen is that you'll get maybe 100 folks sending 10 bucks on average which is pathetic and exactly why barchi and the admin do what theyve always done. A vocal fanbase numbering into the 100 of thousands that sends a hundred on average gets listened too.

Case in point the fire flood campaign had about 10k in 2 days with hundreds of donors and was just getting started with the publicity and the administration shut it down. They noticed that.

So i have and will always maintain that all our bitching and moaning should be directed at ourselves.

If you don't want to give, you don't have to. Nobody will know or blame you for it. At the same time, don't you dare call yourself a Rutgers alum or supporter and actively discourage others from trying to make this program better.

Your are completely missing my point. Save up your money and donate when Barchi is gone. Right now donations do nothing to help athletics. You have to understand how little Barchi cares about Athletics.

Barchi's halfway out the f***ing door. Forget Barchi. Next year is too late to make a difference. Next year, they'll take your donation, put it in their pocket and say thank you. Donating to the program directly now empowers Pat to make a difference now. Right now. When we have a coach to hire and he has to fight for the budget to get a good coach and staff. Look at Ohio State. Look at Penn State. Look at Michigan. Are we going to be competitive spending a quarter of what they do?

We have a chance to let Hobbs know that we, as the alumni base, have his back and support an investment making the football program competitive. That chance is now. It's today. It's not next year after he's already had to hire a new coach. We need to make our voices heard now before he has to justify a budget for the new staff. Wait till next year and you lose your voice. Make a statement now to give Barchi a kick on his way out the door.
