My take is, that if Schiano is not the guy, then Hobbs already knows that and the search has already moved past him; why else would he have fired Ash that quickly into the season? I personally think Hobbs know's what he's doing here; there are also people behind the scenes that are working with him on this. Schiano is still in play; It's not that there aren't a number of coaches that wouldn't be a good hire; the problem is, who would they take the position where our program is right now? I still think that Schiano should be that guy, if not only for the fact that he can step right in and do what he knows he will have to do. I look at Schiano as the guy who will not take us to the mountaintop, but someone who will START us up the mountain. Then, we will be in a position, say 5 years from now, to hire the type of guy that will be able to step in and continue us on that path. It's going to be that difficult of a job....
