He might just be more of a 3-4 year player. I still think hebhasnt found his groove with this team yet, sndnthe injury didnt help.
There is no question whether he is a 4 year player. We will be lucky to see him back

Theres no place for him in the NBA at the moment. Hes more likely to transfer if we get some bigs in
. But then again its a thin front court as is. He could get all he wants next year at the 4/5.

I hope you’re right. My line of thinking is he was nearly gone last year.

Oh for certain. And he probably will leave at the end of the day. But he does need to play better. If he continues this exact same play the NBA will move away from him.

He could either go undrafted this year and work his way up through the G-league, probably never getting anywhere.

Or he can come back a year, do what Nick is doing now, and possibly become a late 1st rounder.

Hopefully he chooses right.

EJ is in a funk. I understand a slump on offense, but his defense has been horrendous

He just has zero offensive game. None. If it isn’t a wide open dunk / layup or an even more wide open jump shot, he just isn’t going to do much.

This makes his rebounding and defense that much more important. Unfortunately he leaves a lot to be desired in both of those areas. Defense has looked better so far today tho.

He played terrible until overtime. Overtime he was hugeeeee. Great block and defense plus smart boxing out that he wasn’t doing earlier.

He doesn't need to be a world-beater, just serviceable. Few points, few boards and good D. He played well in overtime. Good to see some emotion out of him too. He usually plays and looks like he'd just smoked a bowl. Hopefully doing OK against a good frontcourt gives him some confidence going forward.

. He gave us 4 pts 5 rebs and 2 blocks as the 3rd best big . I know he starts but we all know Sestina is better and Brooks is more talented. So as the 3rd or 4th big we did his job today and he can go off and will be in the NBA but it might take 3 seasons . He will have games this season again where he drops 20 and 8 as he has before .
