I agree and that's the hard part. I'm sure that with a combination of our freshman this year and incoming freshman, there would be some that we could live without.
That's why Cal is the highest paid coach in college athletics.
That's the only part.
He recruits kids that are the best or think they are the best and most leave as they should.
If the ones with no business leaving would stay, the ones Cal told you likely wont be first round stayed we would be fine.
What if Orton was healthy and stayed with 2011?
Liggins could have helped 2012 even more.
Teague and Lamb in 2013 make that club 100 times better.
Archie is the only questionable one - twins and young coming in... who knows.
They stayed for 2015 and we lost the last 3 minutes of one game the entire season.
Booker and Dakari, on paper should have stayed along with the twins for 2016.
Then we have Mathews and Lee puss out.
But until someone shows the formula for which top 25 kid you turn down for a top 150 then it is a nonstarter.
And yes, most top 100 kids want a bunch of PT, so dont even consider that a top 50-75 kid is willing to come and wait his turn or roll the dice that he will ever get a turn.
