It would be cool if Doc ends up helping us to our first NCAA tournament win.

I would think he has some unfinished business of his own he'd want to address. Not many get a second chance

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Horrible hire. The guy couldn't recruit a fly to land on dog poop. We need a recruiter who can coach defense NOT a defensive assistant who can't recruit. HOPEFULLY this is just a ruse to get Doc a pay raise from his AD. Yikes. Completely underwhelming potential hire.

Doc is very well-connected and regarded in the JUCO ranks. He also had success with D-I transfers at So Miss. I'm sure those will be his areas of recruiting focus. If he can bring in one top JUCO/transfer prospect a year, I think the other coaches can handle the rest of recruiting.

I hope not, the stupidest thing in sports is coaches either dressing in the teams uniforms and/or wearing a suit.

When I used to coach high school baseball the head coach made us wear the uniform...so lame.

For some reason majority of all college Basketball Coach’s wear suits compared to other sporting teams..

Back in the 1950’s and even before that, College Football Coach’s also wore suits..

Our recruiters are Abdelmassih and Gates. Doc will sit in a room and devise defensive strategies, while Fred teaches the boys how to shoot. Lutz will be the sage veteran to provide advice as needed.

There's the job responsibilities/job description in a nutshell. Basketball is a game of chemistry with the head coach stirring the potions. Fred isn't stupid.

If proper grammar is used, it doesn't. If a person is signing on for a further period on their contract, it's actually re-signed; voluntarily leaving a job is resign. One of many situations where using proper grammar actually helps avoid confusion.
