Did Leo Lewis Commit to TSUN?

For now.

Showing commitment to TSUN on 247. Sorry if Germans.

Rebs know that nothing cancels a big win by your nonrival (and a loss by your REAL rival) like a recruiting victory. Plus the loss of Fletcher Adams was more than they could take.

If Leo played his cards right, their utter desperation could have resulted in big, BIG $$$.

Funny thing is ... he can still sign with someone else in February :)

Thanks for the spelling lesson, I was too shocked hearing ESPN call out your

coach, please forgive me. Here is ESPN calling out your player and coach. Now that's pitiful!

In his letter to Bulldog fans defending himself, Day said he was "going too fast at 300 pounds to stop." That sounds reasonable. But he goes on to blame the LSU players basically for being on the ground where he was stepping. In the first incident, Day did slow down enough to see MSU quarterback Dak Prescott get tackled (thus ending the play). Then Day chose to blatantly jump onto Davon Godchaux's gut. In the second incident, it's clear that Day could have stepped on the ground between Rashard Robinson's legs but spiked his thigh instead. MSU coach Dan Mullen's reaction might be worse, though. "I didn't see anything wrong with it," he said on Tuesday after the suspension had been handed down. This is the same coach who last year suspended Day for a half against Troy after Day did the same thing to an Auburn player. Hmmm, what could be the difference between Troy and MSU's next opponent, No. 6 Texas A&M? Could be the division title implications, but that's just a wild guess. Later on Tuesday,Prescott tweeted #FreeDDay in support of his center, but this kind of repeated behavior should not be condoned.

Or hell - it could be he didn't see any intention with his Day's actions unlike the Auburn game.

How about you kiss my ***, douchelord. Dude get the 17 over yourself. You are on a damn MSU message board, which I feel when the mods wake up your posting career will end soon.

Funny how the "paying recruits" accusations always get a response from the Black Bears. Hits too close to home I guess.

Don't worry, it'll become much clearer once Ole Miss loses to Memphis this Saturday

It's crazy how our defeat of LSU

has driven them batshit crazy. They have been on a mission since Saturday night.

It is clear. They were all "rooting" for state but our win proves they werent. Ive never seen so much gnashing of teeth. They are legit pissed that we are good and getting love.

We werent even this bad when they went to the CWS. Not even close. Hell, all we did was win 1 game. Think of if we win the next 2. Think of the meltdown when lewis flips to state. There will be some serious **** being thrown then.

Or hell - it could be he didn't see any intention with his Day's actions unlike the Auburn game.

Or it could be that he's playing to the masses, which he seems to do really well.

It also could be that he's a lot more concerned about playing his back up center against A&M for a full game rather than playing his back up against Troy for a half game.

Or, it could be what you said too. Go see if you can find 5-10 fans of other schools that watch the videos of Day and come away thinking there was no intent in his actions. The video, plus his past actions made the decision really easy for the SEC.

The irony is how this board would be reacting if the situations were reversed. If the Matthews kid for A&M were to pull something like this on Preston Smith next weekend and then do it later to Taveze Calhoun, would your reaction be the same? Just good old-fashioned hustle? You're better than that DS.

We all do it. It's part of the game. Doesn't bother me. I just want to know that we have people ensuring that the playing field is level for our coaching staff on that front whenever possible.

I would agree that some Ole Miss fans have not handled MSU's victory well, which is unfortunate. With that said, do you feel that MSU fans handled Ole Miss' victory over LSU last year with grace and aplomb?

So glad all these OM fans are here to tell us how to think. They obviously have it all figured out and are the classy examples we should all be trying to emulate. But hey, just like Sowell, all we had to do is not watch it and it never happened, right bruiser? Go MFin Rebs.

Some?

Probably. I only read SPS, so I cannot speak to the crazies (although we do have some here). However, we (SPS) did not go to the lengths that those on Nafoom have gone. Y'all have had nonstop posts since Saturday on us, in one way or another. I find that sort of odd, being that y'all don't care about us and we aren't your real rival.****

Yes, some, unless you think message boards are accurate representations of fanbases. The fact is they tend to attract the most passionate and vocal fans, some of whom are inevitably loud idiots.

But to your other point - y'all are our "real rival," obviously, as I've said before, even though some OM fans won't admit it. When something good happens to y'all, some of our fans will behave like idiots (and vice versa). That's what happens in a rivalry. It is inevitable and unsurprising.

As an example, last year when we beat LSU, the meltdown here was bad enough that one sage poster (you) said, "a good number of posters on here are more concerned with OM than State," while describing some posters as "way too insecure," in the midst of multiple threads calling for Mullen to be fired on an off week. I would say the meltdown here was far worse than the reaction on Nafoom this week, but I don't expect anyone here to agree.

He's lying about not seeing the Sowell clip. He was on here defending Sowell.

Literally a ********** - 11/28/11 09:57 AM

"I don't even think it was a cheap shot, because the play was still live, and the defender was chasing the play. I think you're searching if you're wanting to call that a cheap shot. Blocks just like that are commonplace."

Multiple posts defending the hit. Said he watched the video multiple times.

Not what I said at all. Just said I couldn't comment on it, since I was done with football at that time and didn't watch it. "Can't comment" is different than "never happened".

I don't doubt you that Sowell pulled a dick move. He probably did. So did Dillon Day. If I saw the video of Sowell, I could and probably would agree with you on it.

YOU DID SEE THE VIDEO OF SOWELL AND DEFENDED HIM.

But I understand you are filling whatever agenda needs to be filled today. Go Rebs.
