I didn't click the DP article, haven't clicked a DP article in years. I'm referring to all the tweets we saw the week after the game. You guys have some truly racist and nasty fans online. Period. Argue and deny it all you want - don't give the slightest rip.

Callier gave Martinez a little something extra. It's most likely not where he was hurt. It happens all the time. The response from Closet Boy and the little brain fan base was totally disproportionate and continues one year later.
SOME kNU fans took to twitter and facebook with some truly disgusting behavior. Period. Don't know what the DP article says, speaking to what we all saw the week after the game. Hell, it went on most the season.

We can agree to disagree on the severity of Callier's little twist or whether kNU players are guilty of the same behavior all the time. The tweets and FB posts we all saw with our own eyes - that is not for debate.

You can say period all you want, that doesn't make it a fact. The fact is, you are still so far removed from reality, it's insane. You have been provided video and photographic evidence of the play, it was beyond dirty, period. It wasn't a little something extra and it doesn't happen all the time, period. Now as for your claims of racial and vile attacks on said dirty player, you have provided zero evidence, yet claim it as a fact. While continuing to justify and defend his unacceptable actions.

So dirty the PAC 12 and B1G both agree. Oh wait, no they didn't. I've watched every angle and every speed of that play. The angle that doesn't show the backside looks worse than the other angles. Regardless, it wasn't anymore egregious than the late hit that knocked Winfree out. We just didn't go to the time stamp and slow it down for everyone to see.

As for my claims - yeah - making it all up. We didn't see them in real time, it wasn't a topic of discussion - it simply never happened. Every Nebraska fan who harassed his social media did so with the utmost respect and class. You f8cking serious Clark?

Yep, if there is a football play were a kNU little brain has Montez around the ankle and another little brain defender comes in with momentum from the other side - and Montez twists uncomfortably resulting in a minor sprain - that's football. I'll get past it just as fast as I did the late hit that knocked Winfree out for 5 weeks. Very last thing I'm going to do is throw hissy fit after hissy fit or take to social media with racial slurs and vulgar comments/threats.
You make no sense... Basically justifying what your player did by blanketing the incident as a normal football play while passive aggressively implying the Winfree hit ( without evidence) was dirty? So which one is it? Was it dirty or a football play that just happens.. your biased skewed towards your hatred for Nebraska is unbecoming

What percentage of our fan base do you think the idiots talking **** on twitter represent? Are you saying that if CU’s QB was injured on a similar play that a small percentage of nutjob CU fans, or any other fan base for that matter, wouldn’t also be going over the top? You’re being dishonest if you do.

I also don’t see equivalency between a late hit, which is a more legitimate football play than intentionally twisting someone’s knee for the purpose of injuring them, and the play that had NU fan so pissed. You can get flagged for a late hit and have it be a completely non-malicious play. The same cannot be said for twisting a knee at the bottom of a pile after the play is whistled dead.

I don’t want a debate. But you need to check yourself. What are you hoping to achieve in your discussion over here?

A late hit by definition is a dirty play. You can justify late hits any number of ways, it's football. You need multiple angles and slowing it down to a crawl to see Calliers dirty play. The B1G and PAC 12 both reviewed the play.

We have gone THREE pages of you guys whining about Callier while denying everything else. Guess when I'm dealing with people who do nothing but project - I'd understand the skepticism without links. I mean saying we all saw in real time the racial and vile comments is some truly out of the box make believe. Generally speaking, people who reach out to a 19 year old football player of an opposing team who's HC just threw a temper tantrum are generally really stable and respectful, right?

Very small fraction. Why this thread should have been maybe a few posts.
Here it is... every single fan base has bad twitter apples. End of story. This isn’t a surprise. You know that, as well as everyone else here. Why are you making this into a big deal on a husker message board?

Truth be told - I like you guys too. It's been fun. Here's to a good and clean ;) game Saturday.
Ahh there it is... absolutely no response to Tim Lynott saying “When you’re in that game, you just make mistakes. I do sometimes, too. It’s all adrenaline at that point you don’t know what you’re doing!”

LOL your whole argument up in smoke just because you can’t read a newspaper! Clown

Well I mean when the Denver Post writers even talk about how chuckable their new aluminum cups are, I think that settles it.

I had nothing better to do so I checked out some of Callier's tweets directly following the game. The worst one was calling him a little ***** boy. Nothing racist, just a very select few dumb people venting because Callier's dirty play had zero consequences. @CJB1950 is an exaggerating POS.

I asked one of his buddies on here last year for some proof. Got absolutely zilch.

OP is a drama queen. Seriously take this lunacy to your board. If you can’t admit your hero did anything wrong then that’s on you.

I was the OP but somehow the thread went off the rails and I can only assume you are confusing me with the CU fan. I was criticizing the Denver Post writer for stirring the pot, not trying to start a fan war. As for the incident, it was out of the Suh playbook and just as Suh gets criticized for every dirty play so should the insignificant CU player, whose name escapes me once again. Hopefully the Denver Post will write another article so I can be reminded who he is.RollingLaugh

Sure, if you slow it down and look real hard - you see Callier with a little extra twist at the end.
a. most likely not when he was injured
b. the pile moved

Again - happens on every single football play. The faux outrage and the weeks long hissy fit you guys threw was surreal. Not to mention - an actual late hit 5 yards out of bounds that was NOT called - knocked our 2nd best WR out for 5 weeks.

I didn't screen shot the Nebraska fans tweets and am not going to waste a second looking for them. They were nasty, vile and totally unbecoming of any fan base - let alone the "classiest fans" in the country. The very fact you are trying to justify that behavior speaks volumes. Its football you Knowledgeable pansies.

I'm pretty sure it was stated as explained and not justified. Every fan base has their ********, and apparently Colorado has a player too. What does the fact that your "objective opinion" rivals everything I have read including your own rivals writer? It was dirty! No questions as to his intent and I'd bet his coach is smart enough to not play him come Saturday.

But yet here you are again, still pissing and moaning about something that you can't prove. They call that hear say and it holds no weight.

What's really funny is, you bag on Nebraska over the last decade, what exactly has Colorado accomplished in that time. Hell, you guys can't even win in the PAC 12, the weakest conference in the power 5. Now that's pathetic!

If you guys call it whining enough - nah - still wont' be whining. Only one post (that I read) said it was unacceptable behavior. I'm not whining that SOME of your fan base took to social media with racist and vile tweets. Simply pointing out after 30+ quotes - all you guys did was whine, justify and even laughingly deny/question the behavior. Again, that's not a surprise. Comical for a classy fan base, but not surprising.

You've still haven't linked anything to legitimize your claims.

Guess this makes you the CU nut case showing your ***. Aren't you here calling people names, being derogatory towards our home state, profiling everyone base on a few. Wow, you are exactly what your whining about! Hilarious!!! Congrats dick head!
