excerpt
As public opinion is souring on House Democrats' impeachment efforts, Washington Post reporter Rachel Bade told CNN on Sunday morning that she and her colleagues are hearing "behind the scenes" that a growing number of House Democrats are "getting cold feet" on moving forward with impeaching President Donald Trump.

Are Democrat moderates getting cold feet under impeachment?

https://www.nationalrighttolifenews...tting-cold-feet-over-impeachment-proceedings/

excerpt:
“I think what we’re starting to see, you know, is when the impeachment inquiry was first announced and they started to do these depositions, a lot of people were asking, ‘Can Nancy Pelosi peel off any Republicans’ in this final impeachment vote. But I increasingly think the question is becoming does [Nancy Pelosi] lose more Democrats? Because Republicans have really unified behind the president, and although two Democrats voted against the impeachment inquiry rules that they voted on a couple of weeks ago, we are hearing behind-the-scenes there are moderates getting cold feet.

I just may end up looking like my sig pic afterall

Since you're feeling so confident, let's make it a two-year ban instead of a one-year ban. You in?

The fact of the matter which YOU refuse to recognize is this has backfired on your precious party BIG TIME. If I were you, rather than trying to change the terms of our bet, I'd be counting heads in Nancy's caucus because I'm trying to inform you she is losing support for impeachment as each day passes. Why do you think they "changed" the articles? Why do you think they're scrambling now to get this to the floor ASAP? Because support for this is dropping like a rock!

You can deny that if you like, but you can't deny the fact Nancy will not call for a whip count. Why not?

She doesn't have the votes. You'll learn.

No bet.
(besides I fully expect you to stay here even after you lose because you're such a liar)

He is clearly not guilty of it to everyone who actually paid attention.

The one material witness who knew first hand what Trump said to Zelensky (Sondland) said Trump never asked for a "quid pro quo". What exactly is Trump guilty of? Is your ignorance the result of your blindness or are you blind because of your ignorance?

You are trying to convince someone who still believes Trump "colluded" & that the President of Ukraine was threatened with castration if he didn't investigate Joe "quid pro quo" Biden.

Hey atl and Dave, I'm the one who told those Ukranian Bolsheviks I only had six hours, and if they didn't do what I wanted they weren't getting our money!

...and son-of-a-*****...they fired that prosecutor investigating my Son!

@countryroads89 just FYI

Why Democrats won't impeach the President
https://www.conservativedailynews.com/2019/11/why-the-democrats-wont-impeach-the-president/

excerpt:
Sure, the Democrats would love to impeach him, but they won’t. It’s not because they can’t remove him, but because actually impeaching Trump would hurt them politically. First, the Republican-controlled Senate would conduct a trial, which unlike the Democrat inquiry, would allow Trump supporters to question witnesses whose stories won’t help Democrats sway public opinion in their favor. A fair Senate trial would likely do exactly the opposite. Also, if the trail goes on long enough it will cut into the campaign season for several Democrats Presidential candidates. Finally, a public Senate trial will almost certainly damage front runner Joe Biden’s chances of representing the Democrats in their efforts to win the 2020 election.

Worse for the Democrats would be outing the “moderate” Democrats in the House as working in lockstep with the progressive party line. Remember they were elected promising to do the best for the country, and not just blindly following policies not popular with their constituents. While they could explain away voting for an “inquiry” to find out the facts, voting to actually impeach based on some pretty weak evidence of wrongdoing could very well see them voted out in 2020.

You can't name the "law" Trump broke or point out where it's specified in the two "impeachment lite" articles hapless Dems drew up?

Explain where "abuse of power" is enumerated under the U.S. criminal code? Since when is it "illegal" for the President to oppose Congress?

You're drunk.

more bad news for @countryroads89

House Democrats brace for some defections among moderates on impeachment of Trump
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...-moderates-on-impeachment-of-trump/ar-AAK2oCK

excerpt:
House Democratic leaders are bracing for some defections among a group of moderate Democrats in swing districts who are concerned a vote to impeach President Trump could cost them their seats in November.

Predictions about some defections come as a core group of centrists from districts Trump won in 2016 are having second thoughts. While many knew impeachment would never be popular in their GOP-leaning districts, some have been surprised that support hasn’t increased despite negative testimony about Trump from a series of blockbuster hearings last month.

Theres definitely an abuse of power. It’s not Trump. It’s the House Democrats and this phony impeachment inquiry. We the people need to be outraged at the gross misuse of tax dollars on this farce
