The fact of the matter which YOU refuse to recognize is this has backfired on your precious party BIG TIME. If I were you, rather than trying to change the terms of our bet, I'd be counting heads in Nancy's caucus because I'm trying to inform you she is losing support for impeachment as each day passes. Why do you think they "changed" the articles? Why do you think they're scrambling now to get this to the floor ASAP? Because support for this is dropping like a rock!

You can deny that if you like, but you can't deny the fact Nancy will not call for a whip count. Why not?

The one material witness who knew first hand what Trump said to Zelensky (Sondland) said Trump never asked for a "quid pro quo". What exactly is Trump guilty of? Is your ignorance the result of your blindness or are you blind because of your ignorance?

First, the Republican-controlled Senate would conduct a trial, which unlike the Democrat inquiry, would allow Trump supporters to question witnesses whose stories won’t help Democrats sway public opinion in their favor. A fair Senate trial would likely do exactly the opposite. Also, if the trail goes on long enough it will cut into the campaign season for several Democrats Presidential candidates. Finally, a public Senate trial will almost certainly damage front runner Joe Biden’s chances of representing the Democrats in their efforts to win the 2020 election.

Worse for the Democrats would be outing the “moderate” Democrats in the House as working in lockstep with the progressive party line. Remember they were elected promising to do the best for the country, and not just blindly following policies not popular with their constituents. While they could explain away voting for an “inquiry” to find out the facts, voting to actually impeach based on some pretty weak evidence of wrongdoing could very well see them voted out in 2020.

Theres definitely an abuse of power. It’s not Trump. It’s the House Democrats and this phony impeachment inquiry. We the people need to be outraged at the gross misuse of tax dollars on this farce
