I’m not usually for heavy handed moderation, but the OP has zero reason to be allowed to participate here. It’s a prime example of what makes Rutgers look bad.
I disagree. So far as I can tell, he's not violating any board rules.

I think the OP should post, but learn to do so without being unnecessarily abrasive. Maybe he can learn to choose his terms more wisely when expressing negativity. Maybe not.

But ultimately, we're mostly all adults and ought to be able to handle overly abrasive posts among ourselves without requiring the mods (i.e. mommy and daddy) to solve everything for us. As we've done fairly well in this thread, IMO.

Hopefully the OP is using this thread as a learning experience, as opposed to feeling insulted. The irony being that he's the one advocating for people skipping right past "political correctness" to "calling it like we see it".

People, these days at least, seem to frequently confuse political correctness with dishonesty. A mistake predicated on the false premise that it requires one to be an abrasive a-hole in order to express an honest and/or unpopular and/or negative opinion.
Conjures up the old Goofus and Gallant from the Highlights magazine. Did a Google search of images for Goofus and Gallant, and found this "these days" bastardized versions.

Not the most unholiest of insults, is it? 😂

Raises another question. Are crayons bright, either in terms of intelligence or lumens?
Maybe he meant not the sharpest crayon in the box, but crayons are not sharp either.
Some crayons might be considered "bright," such as Crayola's neon crayons.

I ensure you that was a mixed metaphor

Meh, shun him for life. And on top of that, require him to fulfill the duties of shearing the flock of @mildone sheep to your preferred length.

I can assure you I am way more successful in my career than he is at football. Now I can't speak for post football is some booster hands him a cushy job.
that career could be a counter worker employed by a busy fast food restaurant or someone moved into the third shift assistant manager's position from the counter .
In anonymous boards like this, you can be who you want to be, or just imply success.

This board always comes through with interesting threads. Waxing poetic with the use of crayons as insults.

Vedral is what he is: the best QB starting option we have to win games right now. People do have to keep in mind that our OL is still recovering from what Ash did to the program. For this season, I will settle for a "game manager" that does not lose games for us and allows our defense and special teams to help win them.

I love everyone, including seemingly angry people ranting about QBs online. So no shunning by me.

However, I do like the idea of a kind of public service punishment requiring him to shear my flock. I like to have my initials (a block "M") carved in the little beauty's sides.

And he may surprise us in a game or two this season. Might be the star of the show in an upset. I don't expect it; but I do hope for it.

Maybe it was referenced above, but Spencer Petras of Iowa is 24/48 (50%) on the season (5.2 ypc average), with a long of 26, with 1 TD, all behind Vedral. Michigan's 4 star QB, Cade McNamara is at the bottom of the B1G QBs, with an ESPN QBR of 94.5. The #2 and #3 QBs in the rankings player for the two bottom teams in the B1G Power rankings, Illinois and Nebraska. Not exactly something to celebrate. Some of our fans have an uncanny ability to focus on the negative and not celebrate the positive.

Fcs is a lot different than FBS talent wise
Yes and no - Delaware is easily as talented as Temple and many other lower tier FBS teams. Vedral played fantastic today. 21-25 for 323 and 2 TDs (and no INTs) with several gorgeous downfield passes and all the usual accurate short passes. Vedral is still not the best, but he's not "trash" and the "worst ever" QB.

These crazy things called downfield passes happen when the OL gives the QB a clean pocket and time to throw so the WRs can get downfield. It's crazy for anyone to think there's no relationship between the three units. When one fails usually so do the rest.
