He has been AVG this year. No problem with that at all.Zero touches in the second half for Mills. Was he hurt too?

Wasn't he the one who missed the block that resulted in Vedral being sacked which resulted in a game changing fumble?
It looked like a TMart play.I mean, it might have been him, but Vedral sort of ran right into that guy and then acted like he had never been tackled before in his life. I know Vedral is sort of a sacred cow to some Husker fans but he did about everything wrong possible on that play.
He was, but I'm pretty sure he carried it a couple times after that. Which made me wonder if he was hurt.Wasn't he the one who missed the block that resulted in Vedral being sacked which resulted in a game changing fumble?

Listen, nobody caused that fumble. You need to be touched for a fumble to be "caused."I believe he was responsible for not picking up the man that caused Vedral to fumble which may explain his absence in the second half.
As for Mills and why he doesn't get more touches, his vision is awful. It's flat out horrendous.
You get him with an obvious lane and a straight line to run in, he can get some things done. You need him to see and feel cutbacks, forget it.
That said, trying to run Wan'dale inside repeatedly is not the answer. Kid was literally getting picked up and slammed multiple times yesterday. I love Wan'dale, he's an amazing player and he's got the best skillset and heart of anyone on that offense. But 170 lbs vs 300 lbs...you only get to do that so many times before kid gets hurt.
I remember Ahman running into people all the time because his "timing" was all wrong in the option. He would get the ball and just sprint into the back somebody. There is a tempo to being running back that takes time in different offenses. And trust. Remember that our oline was awful, then bad, now kind of bad...you have to trust your guys to actually get to the 2nd level and get the blocks if you are going to be patient...WR has a natural ability to put his foot in the ground and go, from zero to top speed which makes these things seem easier for him.I agree. His vision is really bad. He'd be a stud if he had any vision, but he doesn't. He just isn't a fit in this scheme. It'll be interesting to see what we have with Rahmir now that he should be able to get some snaps upcoming.

I thought it was going to be some kind of screen pass. You may be rightI believe he was responsible for not picking up the man that caused Vedral to fumble which may explain his absence in the second half.
Your resentment of everything about our staff is almost shocking. What happened to this great strength and conditioning program Scott never shuts up about? We are just as slow weak and injured as we were when Riley was here.
THIS IS IT. He missed the block. “No block, no rock”!I believe he was responsible for not picking up the man that caused Vedral to fumble which may explain his absence in the second half.

Scott Frost has no idea what he is doing when calling plays. He needs an OC. How many times do we run sideways and get tackled for losses on 3rd or 4th and 1. Happens all the time under Scott Frost. It happened last Saturday. Get a Physical Full Back and get some Physical offensive Linemen and knock someone out of the way for a yard like we use to do.Zero touches in the second half for Mills. Was he hurt too?
He hasn't been good at identifying the weaknesses on the offense and adjusting his offense to that. However he was a great playcaller at UCF when he had the players to run the offense.Scott Frost has no idea what he is doing when calling plays. He needs an OC. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on that one.Scott Frost has no idea what he is doing when calling plays. He needs an OC.
