Kansas had two 4-star recruits, #53 and #94, a SF and a PG, completely sit out last year as redshirts. They also had the #64 player play limited minutes. All 3 are back this year despite Kansas recruiting a 5-star guard, a top Juco SF, and returning McCormack, Agbaji, and De Sousa to compete in the frontcourt.
We shouldn't be worried about Ware (#35 nationally) and Fletcher (#59) getting shafted on playing time due to signing Williams, as the other teams don't. Williams could give us a couple years like Camron Johnson gave UNC. UNC didn't worry about how signing Johnson would affect Theo Pinson and Brandon Robinson.
These players came here to play without a doubt, but if they aren't good enough to outplay a 24-year old Evansville transfer, then they should work on improving to compete with next years' 5-star freshmen that Calipari will be bringing in (Banchero, Huntley-Hatfield, etc) To be the guy that takes the next crop of players' playing time.
