Anyone else wanting to start this thing back up? I'd do it but I can't remember all of the specifics. Hopefully someone with a better memory of it will volunteer to take the reins and we can start this thing back up. If not, I'll give it a shot with the input of others.

It starts the week after baseball season ends (to help ease the slowness of summer and get everyone through the "list your top x MSU thing everrrr" posts)

Nominations are held for multiple categories (press, players, coaches, others)

16 douches are chosen for the tournament and seeded per the admin

Open a poll every 24 or 48 hours and have the site vote on who advances until the tournament is over

As the commissioner of the DDDY

We probably should bring it back. I think this would have been the tenth anniversary of the DDDY.

If we bring it back, we have to rename it. I saw the namesake in Abners in Brandon one time with his wife and child. Yes, he was a total douche back then, but we've all grown up and the man has a family now.

Former winners also include PJ, the banana felating Clemson fan, Mike Slive, Cecil Newton, etc.

If we decided to do it again, w could open nominations around Super Bulldog Weekend time. Those nominations would go into World Cup style pools and a bracket of eight would be formed. We'll vote on them one on one until we have a Champion.

I don't think it should be renamed, but if it is then it should be renamed after this years winner or Rebel Bruiser

There's less than fifty of us that actually were members on this board when DD and horseface showed up. The majority of the SPS members now don't have a clue about it. Leave it as DDDY. Not to mock him but to honor that period in time instead.

We changed the name of <Redacted> Day to Avid Reader Day. There is a precedent for this.

I would love to know what banana felator is up to.

For you youngins - The year we hosted Clemson in the Super Regional, this Clemson Superfan came on here talking serious smack. It started with how Clemson got hosed because they deserved to host because of their attendance. After he was quickly shut down, it quickly became Clemson was going to beat our ***, etc.

The problem is, he chose the same username as his myspace page. And well, there was a picture of him going down on a banana in a Clemson sweatshirt.

He disappeared very quickly.

That was a funny few days. Right up there with the Ryan's steakhouse incident. Wonder if she ever made it to see an orthodontist? Or the co-op for a bridle. She threatened to sue everyone for posting her horse face picture. Although it was just a link to her bookface page. She defended DD to the end, though. Will give her that.

Derrick was in Parchman (or one of the fine state institutions) for a while.
