"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."Just another example of how the first amendment only matters if it agrees with others
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Please explain to me how the 1st amendment has anything to do with Dak Prescott, a private citizen, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys, a private entity, being scrutinized by the public.

If anything, Trump using his platform to call the less than 5% of players who DO protest (of note, they're not protesting the anthem, but calling out the fact that police brutality doesn't align with America's core values) 'sons of bitches' is actually a violation of the 1st amendment. We all have the right to protest, and both sides of the political spectrum need to learn to respect that again.<style type="text/css">p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica}</style>

Again...Kap only took a knee after meeting with a former Marine who suggested kneeling rather than sitting. https://www.military.com/undertheradar/2016/09/kaepernick-meets-veteran-nate-boyer-kneels-anthem
It wasn't anti-America he was listening to a service member's advice.

It is Dak with Nick Van Exel eyes...
I know it's Monday morning, but surely you are woke enough to know that the President stating his opinion on twitter is not related to congress passing a law to interfere with a private citizens first amendment rights. Surely you are not getting these confused correct?
Didn't even read the article did you?

The potus disrespects our flag, country, white house, history and every American past and present every single day he's in office right now. Y'all don't care about that. Only care about getting willingly agitated before football games.
1- i dont get the mural reference...looks like i would need to watch something to understand why he is crying. I could do that or i could just forget about it and move on in life. Probably the latter.
2- the kneeling issue was annoying to hear about when it started and its full blown Fran the Nanny annoying now. Its as annoying as Janice from Friends. Kneeling doesnt bring attention to any issue that isnt already well documented. It doesnt change anything. It doesnt start a productive conversation. Its just an annoying distraction.
3- Prescott is correct in saying if someone wants a podium to say something, there will be plenty of opportunity after a game in the locker room for a captive audience to hear everything.

Can't be true, I read on here that there was no backlash and it was just made up fake outrage.
Which one is you?
