Not really.
With technology the way it is, u really dont need to be in the office all the time as an AD that is just old school thinking In a new world life.

And just becuz ur not in ur office also doesn't mean ur not working either. Plenty of phone calls and Skype meetings can be done away from the office to keep up on ur job.
No, pretty sure he was screwing around on our dime. He wasn't the most powerful and effective person in the ad office. Just another stellar hire by the Huskers.

I had been always rumored when Saban retires from Bama, they want Dabo.
They can want all they want. It's pure arrogance. He's legacy Clemson. Plus, no one wants to be the guy who follows Saban. It's a can't win situation. Looks to me like Clemson bought themselves a nice insurance policy.

I wonder if he would have been fired if Frost and Hoiberg were challenging for conference championships?

This is a true story. Sean C and Bill Busch were in Pender in July for an event, Sean said the night of the Akron game , the weather game , there was a 45 minute window where they had to decide what do maybe playing it the next day and he said nobody knew where Moos was and they couldn’t get a hold of him.

He's totally worth it. College football is printing money and Dabo has won MULTIPLE National Championships. I thought the guy was a goof but his results speak for themselves.

Results matter. Again we are paying Frost more per win than Clemson is paying Dabo per win.

Doesn't matter. He's built his legacy at Clemson. They'll name streets and hospitals and stadiums after him in South Carolina. Rich beyond measure. Zero reason to play under Saban's statue. Unlike Nebraska, Alabama doesn't need rescuing.

We're not talking about making sure an AD is working (if you call what they do 'work'). We're talking about keeping them out of trouble.

Yep. Clemson was basically Georgia Tech before Dabo took over. Now they are one of the elite programs in the sport and have beaten Bama twice in the national championship game. Dabo probably is underpaid.

Yeah Dabo isn't going to Alabama. By the time Saban retires, Dabo will be close to 60(Saban just signed a big extension).

And his legacy at Clemson now means more than where he played college ball, not to mention only an idiot would want to follow Nick Saban.
