Money changes everyone’s priorities, and it’s not misleading , professionalized means paying them!!Misleading headline. He said he'd leave if they professionalized college athletics.
it's always been dabo's priorityMoney changes everyone’s priorities, and it’s not misleading , professionalized means paying them!!
Apparently not to Dabo. He's still at Clemson.Money changes everyone’s priorities, and it’s not misleading , professionalized means paying them!!
Maybe he doesn't think paying players (NIL) fully equates to professionalizing college athletics.it's always been dabo's priority
right up there with being a virtue signaling blowhard
he had a chance to keep his word. now everyone knows what I always have - he's a double-talking coward
or maybe he is completely full of itMaybe he doesn't think paying players (NIL) fully equates to professionalizing college athletics.
I certainly don't think it does.
Meyer is worth that amount in this market.really hope nebraska doesnt take part in these ridicolously over priced coaching salaries. nobody and i mean nobody is worth 115 million $
does the whole Jax thing just not factor at all here?Meyer is worth that amount in this market.
I bet he can still win big at the college level. That’s why he would be worth the money.does the whole Jax thing just not factor at all here?
I mean, the guy was absolutely laughed out of the NFL & has made a mockery of himself & his employers over and over again
threw everyone under the bus along the way, no accountability whatsoever

i think we can find a diamond in the rough who will be a pretty good coach at a much more reasonable salary no sense spending so much money if you can spend less and still have decent result on the fieldI hope Nebraska does anything and everything it can to get the best possible coach and field the best possible team. I have no interest in having a ****** football team for the sake of saving $$.
Glad you’re not the AD.i think we can find a diamond in the rough who will be a pretty good coach at a much more reasonable salary no sense spending so much money if you can spend less and still have decent result on the field
There just seems to be a lot of irony in your post.it's always been dabo's priority

Exactly. The money is getting spent no matter what so we may as well be goodI don't give a s*** about what salaries are for our coaches anymore I just want a winning product on the field because it isn't like it benefits me if we get a coach for a bargain.
I would LOVE for one of these college coaches to be like "Of course I do it for the money, not the love of coaching or shaping young men...if I really cared about that **** over the money I would be coaching HS ball for about 8,000 dollars a season while teaching ******* PE"it's always been dabo's priority

I guess the question the rest of us have to ask is...why does it matter? It is not your money.i think we can find a diamond in the rough who will be a pretty good coach at a much more reasonable salary no sense spending so much money if you can spend less and still have decent result on the field
Possibly. Or maybe he's not.or maybe he is completely full of it
100% of people in high positions in government are double-talking virtue-signaling blowhards. Anyone making $10M with the fancy power cocktail parties, everyone smooching their backside....not one of them is ever going to rock the boat or do anything that might cost them their job.it's always been dabo's priority

3 years ago he literally said, completely unprompted, that he would quit if players ever got paid100% of people in high positions in government are double-talking virtue-signaling blowhards. only a billionaire would do something like that100% of people in high positions in government are double-talking virtue-signaling blowhards. They never quit. Politicians stay in power even when bedridden from old age.3 years ago he literally said, completely unprompted, that he would quit if players ever got paid
So what is your point, exactly? That people other than football coaches can also be blowharding hypocrites? Who's arguing otherwise?100% of people in high positions in government are double-talking virtue-signaling blowhards. University leadership is in the same category as politicians. Taxpayer funded, cocktail party club, no accountability. So what is your point, exactly? That people other than football coaches can also be blowharding hypocrites? Who's arguing otherwise?
Who said otherwise? And what does any of that have to do with Dawww-beaux?University leadership is in the same category as politicians. Taxpayer funded, cocktail party club, no accountability.
You continue to show a large amount of cluelessness with each post. Carry on. I guarantee you could not keep up with an AD for a week of their schedule, meetings, contacts and decisions.University leadership is in the same category as politicians. You might keep up with Moos (couldn’t resist) , but you have an excellent point! You continue to show a large amount of cluelessness with each post. Carry on. I guarantee you could not keep up with an AD for a week of their schedule, meetings, contacts and decisions.
Was that even necessary? Was he a threat to go anywhere?Surprising new deal for Dabo at Clemson. 10 yr 115 mil
I had been always rumored when Saban retires from Bama, they want Dabo. Was that even necessary? Was he a threat to go anywhere?
What's so unusual about Moos? Our last AD (at Minnesota) got fired for too much drinking on the job too. All the partying is normal...it's just that he sent too many nude photos and some leaked out.You might keep up with Moos (couldn’t resist) , but you have an excellent point!
Moos was hardly ever in Lincoln , spent more time at his ranch,,had his assistants cover for him. Yes he drank that didn’t bother me , but you have to be in your office. What's so unusual about Moos? Yeah...it doesn't sound like an overly difficult and backbreaking job to me.Moos was hardly ever in Lincoln , spent more time at his ranch,,had his assistants cover for him. Yes he drank that didn’t bother me , but you have to be in your office.
If you do it correctly it should be!Yeah...it doesn't sound like an overly difficult and backbreaking job to me.
