scott didn't exactly impress, eitherYou can add Piper to that too. Spent half the game looking behind him in the backfield after getting his *** beat
There is serious lack of talent on the Oline and until that gets fixed the O will continue to struggle. Saban would not win with the NU Oline.I really thought the line coach that HCMR brought in could get this unit to improve…oh wait…
Until we get both sides right up front, I’m afraid it’s gonna be a lot of gimmickry to gain momentum on drives—in the hard fought games. Many pieces to the puzzle obviously, but the expectation should be we’re sound in those critical areas at the point of attack. Without it, it’s scattered backyard ball that we’ve witnessed for years now on offense.I really thought the line coach that HCMR brought in could get this unit to improve…oh wait…
He sure as hell would’ve won last nightThere is serious lack of talent on the Oline and until that gets fixed the O will continue to struggle. Saban would not win with the NU Oline.
fidone looked stiff and completely bereft of of explosivenessOur entire offense is a wreck. We do not have a legit P5 QB on our roster. Our offensive line is still a sieve on pass plays and are only average at run blocking. Our wide receivers are a flat-out embarrassment of mediocrity. We have decent running backs but not one of them is a game changer, especially given our offensive line. Where was Fidone? Where was the fullback we heard was going to be part of the new offense? The fourth quarter play calling was really bad at times.
I see little hope that this offense is going to do much this year. We need to change our gameplan and start scheming an entire offense around the QB run game. When we did that yesterday we had some success, although not enough.
And the ineptitude of our offense is going to wear down our defense. Our defense is better but against better offenses than the one we saw yesterday they are going to get torched if the offense does not help them out.
Sorry, but contrary to my early pre-season optimism, I think this looks like a 4-8 team. Rhule better recruit some better QB's for the future and some better offensive lineman. He has made a start in that direction. He needs to keep building that. This team is still a year away from going bowling.
I see us beating N. Illinois, La Tech, Purdue and Northwestern. Next week's loss to CU is going to be especially bitter to swallow.Maybe I am nuts but last night just made me upset because it was such an easy win against a team that (even some Husker fans) people thought was "good" and NU had it won.
With the crap teams left to play this year I see way more wins than losses.
There is not a team in the West that has defenders that can contain sims all game long when he runs. There is not a team that NU plays that has a QB that can run so NU can get after all the QB's because you know they can't take off running
And why isn’t Coleman ready? Our entire offense is a wreck. We do not have a legit P5 QB on our roster. Our offensive line is still a sieve on pass plays and are only average at run blocking. Fans will not handle losing to CU very well!I see us beating N. Illinois, La Tech, Purdue and Northwestern. Next week's loss to CU is going to be especially bitter to swallow.
Yea he would he would run the ball. We have no business throwing it +12-15 a game. Never really did to be honest. There is serious lack of talent on the Oline and until that gets fixed the O will continue to struggle. Saban would not win with the NU Oline.
ruhle needs to clear out frost's 6th yr covid kids for next year for his fieshman class! theythat is all
5th yr senior false start at goal line- dispictable for a veteran! LOSER FOOTBALLYou can add Piper to that too. Spent half the game looking behind him in the backfield after getting his *** beat
I'm pretty sure Rhule has alluded that he won't sacrifice what they want to accomplish long term, by changing things up to get another win or two.I see little hope that this offense is going to do much this year. We need to change our gameplan and start scheming an entire offense around the QB run game. When we did that yesterday we had some success, although not enough.
Perhaps we will beat CU. But I don't see it happening. Not with this QB and this offense.Fans will not handle losing to CU very well!
I agree . We have maybe a average line for the big ten. That's why I think its a three year build. There is serious lack of talent on the Oline and until that gets fixed the O will continue to struggle. Saban would not win with the NU Oline.
Yeah he probably would have won last night as Minnesota is not all that good. But against most of the SEC teams it would be a different story. He sure as hell would’ve won last night
i forget which one is 69 but he was awful all gamethat is all
Satterfield was catastrophic in the 4th quarter. We were running the ball and burning clock…and he’s comes out with a 3&out pass drive. What the hell was that?! I have a lot of SC fans around me down here. They all smirked when we hired the guy. Now I know why Beamer took over play calling for the last 3-4 games for SC.Perhaps we will beat CU. But I don't see it happening. Not with this QB and this offense.
Agreed. Fidone just looks like another guy. Was hoping he would stand out. Not opposed to seeing harberg in a pass catching role either, we need the best players on the fieldfidone looked stiff and completely bereft of of explosiveness
get Boerk more looks - was open many times and made the best catch of the night
That’s Corcoran.i forget which one is 69 but he was awful all game
It's insane. We can't get pressure with 4 and other teams get pressure with 3. JFC.Must be nice to be minney and drop 8 in coverage and get instant pressure.
I‘m not driving out there again to see us lose..WinkingPerhaps we will beat CU. But I don't see it happening. Not with this QB and this offense.
how many drives did we have? 7 or 8? Half ending in TOs isn't good.I‘m not driving out there again to see us lose..Winking
But the offense needs to make huge strides and step it up this week in practice…
4 turnovers is bull$&it..

The OL and Sims have played a lot of games. Don’t hold your breath waiting for them to change.I have little hope our offense is going to make a big stride forward.
Our #1 RB averaged 7.9 per carry and hardly sniffed the ball. Methinks we need to help our O line by riding Ervin. There were holes. Grant had a nice hole on the play he fumbled on. Pass pro ain’t great still though. I think that’s more a talent problem than coaching but what do I know. There is serious lack of talent on the Oline and until that gets fixed the O will continue to struggle. Saban would not win with the NU Oline.
I think the best OL would include benching Piper and inserting the backup center in that spot. Jenkins-Scott-Nouili are a pretty decent center of the OL.Our #1 RB averaged 7.9 per carry and hardly sniffed the ball. Methinks we need to help our O line by riding Ervin. There were holes. Jenkins played some last night. If he shows up on the video you may get what you wish for. Raiola doesn’t impress me as a guy who plays favorites.I think the best OL would include benching Piper and inserting the backup center in that spot. Jenkins-Scott-Nouili are a pretty decent center of the OL.
