Need some more interesting things to talk about in here than the WNBA, Texas Southern, and Ginny sacramoni’s fat a**. So what should we expect to see when Hines and Copeland go head to head at the center position when we play UConn?
By all accounts Hines has entered beast mode in UConn practices and is arguably the strongest player in the country. With a height at 6’10 he sort of dwarfs Copeland who is what, 6’6 or 6’7? Copeland however is also build like a truck and having a lower center of gravity should be able to hold his own positioning in the paint against Hines.
At this point in their development, I would imagine Copeland may have the edge in back to the basket moves. Maybe he can get Hines in foul trouble, which last year was not a difficult thing to do.
Maybe having a 6’10 elite shot blocker in Williams helping in the paint can also aid Copeland in containing Hines offensively.
Any thoughts?
