How many of you have either grabbed Dak from the free agent list or either taken a late round pick on him in the last few days? I have to admit, I own him in all 3 of my current leagues.

I'll admit it. He's my backup qb. I'm in 2 leagues. I picked him up yesterday in one league and dumped Tyrod Taylor. The rest of that draft was mediocre because of my draft position. I figured what the heck.

I picked up Romo late in our draft with high hopes. Unfortunately someone picked up my handcuff soon thereafter. Anyone following Dak's history knows he became a starter after the QB in front went down to injury. History repeats itself

Tonight, I drafted Tom Brady in the 4th or 5th round. Need an immediate backup to start the season. Took a homer flyer on Dak in the 10th. Can't wait to start the season with him at QB.

I kept waiting to get him in a later round and someone got him before me. He ended up being a 7th round pick.

I'm in a Dynasty League.

I'm two years removed from back-to-back championships, lost Megatron to retirement, and having aging QBs in Brees and Rivers. I missed the playoffs by one game last year, and have the 4th pick in the draft. Going to be a rebuilding year or two, almost certainly.
A few weeks ago, I thought I'd pick Dak up in the 3rd (and last) round of our rookie draft. I'm the only State guy in the league, everyone overvalues RBs in our league, then properly values receivers. Except for really high picks in the NFL draft, QBs rarely get selected.
Then week 1 happened. Okay, I thought, I'll pick him in the second.

Then week 2 happened. Okay, I can pick him in the first with a lower pick. I started shopping to see who wanted to trade up.

Meanwhile, there's a ton of wheeling and dealing going on between the first two guys to pick, so it becomes obvious Elliot and Henry are going 1 and 2. Well, guy with pick #3 is not a friend, has only been in the league 1 year, and I'm not familiar with his tendencies. He makes a stupid trade, giving up a bunch to get Romo and Witten.
Suddenly, my Spidey-sense is tingling. On a hunch, I offer him Rivers for Romo. It's not a sure-fire thing, but Rivers has outperformed Romo for a while, and should do so again.
He rejects the trade. I go into panic mode.

I offer the guy with pick #2 Alshon Jeffrey for the pick straight up. He declines, but after a couple of days of haggling in the end we swap picks and I get Demaryius Thomas while giving up DeAndre Hopkins (yeah, I know, but Osweiler is his QB now, and I just don't know if he can keep up his value).

The trade was concluded Friday afternoon.

We draft tonight in a league that starts two QB's. I may go for it with him if I can.

I picked him up late. I had to get him because I already had my name picked out, "Daks out for Harambe"

I grabbed him as my back up to Carson Palmer (who I kept as a twelfth round pick from last year). Dak is projected to get 21pts by yahoo, compared to 18.5 for Palmer. Tempting...

I tried to, but someone else had already picked him up.

I had Romo and Brady. My hope was for Romo to last until Brady was back. Now I don't know what I will do.

Also, if I'd gotten Dak I was gonna change my name to "I Dak'd Myself"

I drafted him with my last pick before Romo went down. I always save the last pick for a homer pick. May actually pay off this year.

Dak starting because of an injury is the reason we haven't drafted yet. We moved it back after last year where a few guys had early rounders go down to injury in preseason.
