Want to read some comedy? Head to Allbuffs.com and look at their board. It's pretty hilarious.
That and netbuffs, talk about moronville.

That being said, I believe it will be a tough game, Nebraska's defense and special teams simply must play solid and not make big mistakes. Conditioning will also be key since the altitude going into the 4th quarter could cause some trouble, and it may be in the upper 80's, close to 90, which is not uncommon in Boulder in early September.

I'd love to see a one sided Nebraska win, but I think it will be a very close contest. Hope I'm wrong.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I have never seen a game start prior to 11:00am at the game location. I have always said if the networks were smart they would start some eastern time zone games at 11:00 or 10 centra. Get the day started earlier.

The 2003 NU-CU game (Solich's last game) kicked off at 10:11 Mountain Time.

I remember because I was at a Husker watch party in Denver and had my first Husker shot before 10:30 when NU scored a TD.

Just curious what gives you confidence, considering the Buffs are currently on a 7 game losing steak and in 2 of those games couldn't put up more than 7 points and a loss to Oregon St. While Nebraska went 4-2. Putting up scores of 53, 45, 35, 51, and going toe to toe with Ohio St. We have a heisman level QB, and almost all starters returning. While I don't think the previous year is a great indicator of future years. CU and Neb had a vastly different back half of their seasons. As us husker fans found out last year, a downward trajectory is tough to pull out of in 1 off season. What leads you to believe CU wont continue on their downward trajectory?
Just went and looked at their record. Their trajectory has not just been down last year they have been basement level the last 12 years. They make our last 2 years seem like a speck. Have only had 1 winning season in the last 12 years. In the last 10 years they have only beat 3 ranked opponents, which I believe we will be ranked going into that game. Im changing my vote from no way they beat us to HELL NO they have zero chance to beat us. From it might be a blowout to agreeing with @Top_Gun_ score prediction.

My goodness, you guys never cease to amaze me or any CU fans. One would think I was arguing with OU fans after another playoff run.

Nebraska did go 4-2, with wins against Minnesota and a 9-6 against a Michigan State team missing star players. A Michigan State team that lost to ASU whom lost to CU. Congratulations is in order I suppose. If going 4-2 down that stretch means the NU train will roll everyone they see, then so be it. Personally, I see an OL in flux, a WR corps that needs some work (couldn't catch a cold in the spring game), and a running game highly dependent on a JUCO just now getting on campus that hopefully won't be a walk on at SDSU in 2020. The front 7 looks solid, but I still question the back end. Special teams is a we'll see affair.

For CU, we did go 0-7. End of the world? Maybe. Or maybe CU just needs to get healthy circa 2000 to 2001. Most of the pieces to win are there in all phases of the game. The few holes were interestingly filled with transfers. Our question will be whether the new staff can bring that out of them. We haven't seen anything to question there to say the least.

We know we have potentially 4 first round draft picks on the field for us according to several industry experts. Due to injuries last year, we have a lot of returning experience that with the right coaching, could do very, very, well.

This thread is quite funny though I admit. 70% of the stadium will be filled with Huskers. LMAO. "I'll put my money on it" - says tough internet guy who hasn't worn a jock strap in his life. I'll see you guys again in the fall. We'll have fun with your overconfidence I'm sure... again.

I think we win this game. However, there is one thing that always makes me a little nervous when we play in Boulder: the altitude. Our depth on the defensive line, on paper, looks much better this year than in the past few years. It better be. Our defensive line wore out in games last year. And unless our depth really is better, our line could be gassed by the fourth quarter.

I see us building a lead with CU making a game of it late. But we hang on. 45-31

Hey scavenger, do us all a favor here, stfu and stay on your buff sites, your 40 IQ fits right in with the Neanderthal mentality that the majority of cu fans have. And I don't care how you try to bandage things up with your returning experience or potential first round picks, going 0-7 down the stretch last year says your team will still have a lot of problems, deal with it.

Why did you immediately go to the whole jock strap argument to defend yourself? I'd say it's creepy, but then again, you're a sCUm supporter.

I can't even name 3 players for CU and this guy's writing an offseason recap for a team he's not worried about, what a loser

you'd better not overlook your actual rival CSU bud

I'm really not a CU hater, I just don't see many Buffs fans getting excited enough about this game to drop $200+ per seat to see it. That's just about what I pay to sit midcourt for an entire basketball season. And if someone really puts their mind to it, I'll bet you could go to all the other CU home games combined for around $250.

There is no over confidence about it. It is what it is. Nebraska is the better team all the way around, does the better team always win? Of course not. A new coaching staff almost never comes in year one and does much of significance. CU has too much against them right now to try and compete with Nebraska. If you guys can keep it within 2 TD consider that a win and use that as momentum for the rest of your season. If you can finish with 6 or 7 wins, make a bowl game, that is huge for a year 1 coach especially at a program like Colorado. Use that to build off of next year and you might just make it to the middle of the pack in a crappy PAC12 conf.

well, yea. who on earth would pay to sit through that?

the best part of CU football games is the off chance a wrangler gets dragged by Ralphie before kickoff
