Wow, the university of Colorado is really trying to gouge their ticket prices. What is funny to me is that they are basically pricing their own fans out of the game. I signed up for the Ralphie Pre Sale and minimum its $230 a ticket with all fees included.

The university is pricing their tickets at the scalper rates.

I did the same and it's not even clear if a refund will be given if we don't get selected for tickets. Instead, a vague reference to the Ralphie Fund or some bs

Either way, NU 56 - CU 17. Cannot wait for this blowout!

Yes, if you are a CU ticket holder (I have basketball tickets) you can buy CU-Nebraska tickets without the surcharges, but they are still double the cost of the other individual games.

I think you are correct about CU pricing out their own fans. Nebraska fans will pay the inflated price and make a weekend of it. But CU fans who just want to go to a game will pick a different one.

I’ll be there.. Should be getting my tickets a month before the game..

Top_Gun, hope your right on the score but I think it will a closer game then you think...

When the hell are they going to announce starting times for some of these Football Games? Should be any day now..

How much are the Nebraska tickets at face value with out the C.U. markup?

I was going to call today for my refund. It stated a refundable $200 fee.

Bad seats are about $60 normally, so they are $120 for the Nebraska game. So-so seats are about $150 for the NU game and good seats are $200+.

Just a shot in the dark, but this one at least seems like a 1:30pm MT kickoff to me. I'd be surprised if it was a night game, early slate (10am MT) not out of the question.

I don't know how visiting tickets work but my guess is $165 per ticket plus $15 fee so $180 a ticket.

Rather not see a night game because of walking back from the stadium to the motel...

10:00 AM would suck because of mountain time and the chance Fox might take that game...

1:30am mountain time would be perfect..

The sections in the southwest corner where visitors usually sit are showing up at $180 and $150, but they show them as sold out.

Tickets on the east side upper level are showing up at $180 to $195. These are not Nebraska sections but they would be away from the student sections and they would have a great view of the Flatirons.

(These prices include the $15/ticket fee)

Surprisingly easy to cancel the fee. I just called the ticket office and asked for a refund of my ralphie pre sale deposit and they asked my customer id and confirmed my name and said ok $200 refund to the visa.

They didn't even ask why I was wanting the refund.

Hard to say, CU was horrific the back half of last year. I don't see much improvement on that going into this year. Where as we were reversed so a ton of momentum the back half, which I believe we gained more upside with it being year 2 in the system and player development.
However I think 56-17 as Top_ Gun stated is a bit much. Being it is in their house I think it will help keep it a bit closer. Also going to depend on how much better our D is this year compared to last. CU has enough offense to put up points. I could see something like 45-27. I think we win by at least 2 tds.

I believe this is already set as an ABC family of networks game, so no worries on FOX.

ABC regionally, ESPN nationally. 1:30pm MT is my bet and I completely agree the others would make commuting a nightmare due to earliness/drunkenness & not in that order haha.

Early Sept weather in the flatirons should be beautiful in the afternoon, too! Great point-scoring conditions.

I have an “account” with the Buffs. I won’t go into details, but I got 6 for $185 each all-in (they’ll “keep the red out” unless you bring enough green in). I thought I read somewhere single game tickets are going on sale on May 29 (tomorrow), but not positive about that either. We are 12 rows from the field behind the Husker bench.

Visitor sections are 101 and 102. I snagged some tickets in the adjacent section 103 via a CU alum pre-sale and they were $160/ea after fees. Crazy, but should be fun.

Single-game CU tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow (Wed., May 29th) @ 10:00am central. Link here.

Just curious what gives you confidence, considering the Buffs are currently on a 7 game losing steak and in 2 of those games couldn't put up more than 7 points and a loss to Oregon St. While Nebraska went 4-2. Putting up scores of 53, 45, 35, 51, and going toe to toe with Ohio St. We have a heisman level QB, and almost all starters returning. While I don't think the previous year is a great indicator of future years. CU and Neb had a vastly different back half of their seasons. As us husker fans found out last year, a downward trajectory is tough to pull out of in 1 off season. What leads you to believe CU wont continue on their downward trajectory?
Just went and looked at their record. Their trajectory has not just been down last year they have been basement level the last 12 years. They make our last 2 years seem like a speck. Have only had 1 winning season in the last 12 years. In the last 10 years they have only beat 3 ranked opponents, which I believe we will be ranked going into that game. Im changing my vote from no way they beat us to HELL NO they have zero chance to beat us. From it might be a blowout to agreeing with @Top_Gun_ score prediction.

that loss to oregon state also came after holding a 28-point lead

lol buffs blow & coach frost is pissed. I'd hate to be on NU's schedule this year, especially early on

Why are they so afraid of Nebraska? I just don't get it. We aren't even in their conf any more. From a conf standpoint the game is meaningless. They seem to be more concerned about us than their own conference opponents. That is hilarious.

I admit I am a homer. I also try to be realistic and objective as possible. I honestly don't see how CU wins this game. I think we win by 2 tds min. In what very well has potential to get ugly.

I said a couple of months ago that it would be 40% Husker fans at Folsom Field. But based on the level of interest in tickets, I'm raising that prediction to 60-65%. Tickets are so high-priced that I think even a lot of the CU season ticket holders who are pretty faithful about attending games have sold theirs.

By engaging in a campaign to “Keep the Red Out”...the Colorado Ticket office must not be aware of this theory...

Good grief I have missed you guys. The delusion in this thread is simply outstanding. Will be a fun bump in a few months. This will be a close game. And don't bother asking for bets.
a. Won't trust anyone here to pay
b. Will be loading up if the spread is anywhere over -6.5 as it stands today.

NU will be double-digit favorites by kickoff after we open with a 100-0 W and CU loses to Colo State

easy cover, regardless of spread

Ha. Chance I'd have taken you seriously had you not prefaced it with 100-0. Hope you're right about a double digits spread.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I have never seen a game start prior to 11:00am at the game location. I have always said if the networks were smart they would start some eastern time zone games at 11:00 or 10 centra. Get the day started earlier.

A few things here:

1. I was able to purchase tickets via the CU pre-sale last week at $150 per ticket without any additional donations. At that point in time there were a ton of tickets available even on the 40 yard line in the west stadium
2. The visitors section is 101 and 102
3. There have been a few games played in Boulder that have kicked off at 10:00 AM Mountain time. I don't know of any recently but it has happened.
4. FOX/Pac-12 Network have first call on this game I believe followed by ESPN. Obviously the game will not be on the Pac-12 Network. I would have to guess that it's a 1:30 kickoff, but it could be a 4:00 PM kick off too to put it in the later afternoon on the west coast.
