Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Ricky Williams, Herschel Walker and Marcus Allen. I never watched Archie Griffin, but I'm sure he merits serious consideration. If Marcus Dupree never got hurt, he's squarely in the mix.

No record-setting Donnel Pumphrey?

Pumphrey is the official all-time leader in rushing yards in NCAA FBS history.

Jim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Eddie George would also deserve consideration. Don't see how you could keep Brown out of the top 5 myself.

Brown deserves top 5, George isn't even on the top 10 list. Dickerson wasn't the best RB of his time (maybe due to splitting time).

Add in Billy Sims, Adrian Peterson

I wouldn't put him at the very top, but Gale Sayers averaged 7 yards per carry for two Kansas teams that could barely get out of their own way.

If Sayes Career didn’t end so abruptly in the NFL he would’ve been one of the all-time great’s in the NFL...

Billy Sims
Billy Sims was amazing. And staying within the old Big 8, the only guy who ever stopped Barry Sanders was Pat Jones, the dimwitted HC who didn't let him touch the ball until he was a junior.

Barry Sanders and Ricky Williams deserve concederation.

"Concederation??" C'mon man. It only takes a few seconds to look up the spelling of a word, and you'll probably remember the spelling of it too, for future reference.

I had to Google Swift. What puts him in an all time top 5 over Barry, Bo, Herschel, Adrian, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc???

His speed. Let's put it this way at least. I would take him over any CFB back in 2019.

Duly noted... Still wouldn’t claim him as one of the best but he did have impressive stats..

No one hardly seen him play unless they lived on the West coast..

Agreed. Not even the Philadelphia Eagles (with whom he received his super bowl ring) have seen him play. Maybe this year, if he even makes the team.

My all time list of best five. In no particular order.

1) Ezekiel Elliott
2) Lawrence Phillips
3) Saquon Barkley
4) Darren McFadden
5) D'Andre Swift

Wow that is funny right there... No one would even have any of those in there legit top 10 list of all time. You went with the flavor of the month in Zeke and Barkley, Phillips and McFadden arent even the best Rb's of all time at their own school and dont even know Swift. You have got to put a little more effort in to be considered knowledgeable.
