Wow that is funny right there... No one would even have any of those in there legit top 10 list of all time. You went with the flavor of the month in Zeke and Barkley, Phillips and McFadden aren't even the best Rb's of all time at their own school and most don't even know Swift. You have got to put a little more effort in to be considered legit.

Thanks for playing.

Ricky Williams was pretty special. If he were in a Husker uniform, where would he stack up?

Just got off the phone with Bo, he stated that any Wisconsin running back that he coached against has to be considered top 5 worthy.Laughing

My all time list of best five. In no particular order.

1) Ezekiel Elliott
2) Lawrence Phillips
3) Saquon Barkley
4) Darren McFadden
5) D'Andre Swift

1. Barry Sanders
2. Ricky Williams
3. Hershel Walker
4. LaDainian Tomlinson
5. Tie: Adrian Peterson/Marcus Dupree

Earl >> Ricky

Earl couldn't hold Ricky's jock in college. Ricky was clean, sober and mentally stable.

Or at least his liver and spinal cord could process that junk real quick.

Barry and Ricky best college backs I ever saw live at Memorial, and it wasn't close.

College career only.
Bo Jackson >> Barry

Now if you want to consider their Pro careers
too Barry >> Bo.

You nailed it. Marcus Dupree might have had the best talent of all of them. Including Bo.

Good list with Marcus Allen who was sneaky good athlete, great back between the tackles, and had a stellar Pro career. True warrior at RB.

I give the edge to Barry who could cut on a dime. I think that ability puts him over the top. Sneaky strong but the ideal back "in space," IMO

Which is why I put LaDanian so high. Doesn't he have the season and single-game rushing records? That guy was AMAZING and literally carried the San Diego Chargers.

My "underrated" addition to the list and I doubt anybody can contest his abilities.

I believe Adrian Peterson's first carry at memorial stadium was a 40 yard touchdown where he ran over dan bullocks in the hole.

He was a guy that could have EASILY gone to the NFL straight from high school... probably even high school to the pro bowl.

You can say that again!

Man this list is awful. Kinda reminds me of when all of a sudden Dirk Nowitski got vaulted into the top 10 NBA players ever the year after he won a title. You sure don’t hear that anymore.

In college Thurman Thomas was number one for the Cowboys and Barry did start until he graduated. I don’t think Bo Jackson would have been #2. Got to give it to Bo. Too bad his pro career was cut short.

Bo would have shattered every record out there. No RB will ever match his size speed and strength.

That’s true about Thurman Thomas but even TO said he didn’t understand why Sanders wasn’t getting carries his first two years - and TO was careful never to question other coaches’ decisions.

Jesus the classical music is so good too.

Barry Sanders GOAT, college and pro.

At least he can hang that over Brady's head

Marcus Allen first back to hit 2000 yards
Mike Rozier second one to hit 2000, if mike would have played the whole games might have had a unbreakable record.
Barry Sanders
Gregg Pruit I believe he still holds the highest yards per attempt and 9 yards per carry, it might even be for a career
BO Jackson
